I did bring this up again yesterday evening as it's still an outstanding bug. I will push for it to be resolved.

  • Quote from cj-rvwilliams: “Quote from TACRfan: “One of the biggest changes in the UK game over the US is the mission requirements. A lot less missions require aerials and if they do it will only require 1 maybe 2 (some missions are an exception). The other is fire officers, unlike a battalion chief who often is a command unit on scene, a fire officers vehicle is primarily only used to transport high level officers to the scene of an incident. This is why it’s not uncommon to see 6+ of these vehi…

The normal stations come with no cells. Each on costs 25,000 credits and takes 7 days to build (it's a lot, I know). A heavy rescue and utility function exactly the same with the exception that the utility can tow boat trailers. Once you build some more stations, you'll start getting calls for them. It might be that requirement for the unit is on a police/ambulance call. The calls will start flowing soon enough.

Quote from Kieran: “Quote from rescue423: “Hello everyone! I have recently started to play mission chief and these are a few questions that I have about the game. 1) Is there any way to get coins without buying them? 2) I currently have 1 small police station with no jail cells. There is no option to add them so I was wondering do I need to upgrade to a "big" police station in order to get jail cells? Thanks! ” 1) Yes, by watching ads on the coins section of the app. 2) You can add cells to a sm…

I found some info on officers for Avon but beyond them, everything else for my other counties is an educated guess - there's very little info out there for the majority of services.

With regards to officers, I put one at each wholetime station (station manager) and split the county up into smaller regions, each with an additional officer (group manager). If there is a particular remote area where there are no officers, I will add an additional station manager at an on-call station.

  • They offer you a small amount of around 150 credits. They spawn regularly so that 150 adds up to a decent amount over time. I have two ambulances at each UCC specifically to handle patient transfers and nothing else. At first I thought they were a nuisance but it's pretty good money over time.

  • On the UK game I've never struggled that much as the missions are more suited to our fire services. I rarely have issues with aerials and if I do I can usually call on mutual aid from my alliance. As for rescues, I've made each support pump a rescue pump so I've effectively doubled my rescue capability should I need it. I have split police up from everything else in certain counties as sometimes I don't like the huge calls. I'm slowly working however on merging police in but it's a long and expe…

  • As the UK game has the ability for multiple helicopters, I definitely support this for the US game too.

  • I don't really understand your suggestion here. There are plenty of calls without patients, prisoners or alarm systems to earn credits from. If there's another way you can reword it, I might be able to understand what you're asking for better.

You can go to each dispatch centre and click 'Edit', you'll then be given a tick box which says "Create your own coverage area." If you select this for each one, it will stop you producing those large calls in areas that can't handle them. In the meantime, the calls will disappear within 48 hours of spawning.

No there is no way to do this, each must be done individually.

My best advice is to revise. Other than that, I can't give much useful advise in this situation. If you need help, ask your lecturer or classmates who may be able to answer any questions you have.

This thread is confusing me. You'd like police stations, but without the cells? We have both small and regular sized police stations to use within your setups and neither require cells to be built within them which means they could be used for a whole host of roles. Please help me out here.

  • In the top right of the map, there will be a layers icon. If you click on that, it'll reveal an option to show POIs which will then reveal all to you.

  • As this was mentioned yesterday, I'll give my response again. Keep in mind this is an emergency dispatching game. You can simulate vehicles going in for maintenance themselves by putting them as state 6 if you wished to do something like that. Perhaps instead you could have a warehouse full of spares and swap them out once the vehicles reach a certain mileage and then swap them back after a period of time - that's up to you though.
