but for rural stations it's not accurate.

I have noticed this as well especially with my Sheriff's Office... they do not ever get calls in random parts of the County they are always in one of the towns that also has a police department. It would be nice to have this feature so that my deputies have to cover car/deer crashes or medicals out in the county. One of my police departments I have in game also typically assists deputies with calls up to 10-12 miles away from city limits at a county campground, covering crashes on the highway, etc.

widehaslet does not have his numbers switched round. if you had 9 prisoners in a van then it must get pretty cramped. im guessing this is the US standard but here in the UK we only have vans transporting 2 at most on the left is a US prison van. but on the right is a UK prison van. they are more or less the same size. unless the US van happens to be bigger on the inside ;) then i cant seem to grasp how on earth 9 people are going to get in there.

Yes when I posted that I was thinking standard seating (3 rows, 3 seats in each row). Realistically, they would seat closer to 6.

9, however, isn't unheard of, this van was transporting eleven (three of which were taken to a hospital beforehand): http://www.nbcnews.com/news/ot…r-leaves-keys-f8C11259912

And this van can transport up to 12: http://www.qualityvans.com/mcso-prisoner-transport-van/

Otherwise perhaps maybe a transport bus holding 20-30 might end this debate instead lol.

so are u saying all the calls buried in the forums can't come back out because i happen to know there is over 6 pages of calls that need to be revisited or are u saying the guys that helped get this game going the suggestions they made are worthless if so then the mods need to clear about 14 pages in this part

No, not my intention whatsoever, my apologies if that is how it sounded.

Generally speaking, since it's been posted somewhere, regardless of where it's at in the forum, I'm sure that they have noted it somewhere and are still considering/looking into it :)

this is a call that needs to be reexamined by everyone this could be a upgrade off of the brush pile and possibly a alliance event :) just saying

    Welcome to the forums!

Assuming that these forums have the same general rules, 'bumping' a topic is not allowed. Please be mindful of the date that the last post was made (this one being about 18 months ago). Thanks!

On topic, this callout would be very interesting to work especially in my response area - we're just about all corn fields out here so this would be something we would see more often than rioters or some other calls.

I would have thought 2 prisoners in cages and the rest seats for officer transport would be more realistic.

Sure the prisons have transport vans/buses with more space for prisoners but wouldn't think they would attend police incidents?

Our state patrol uses them for protests (http://www.desmoinesregister.c…protest-arrests/89607366/), at the state fair, anywhere they would be expecting an above average amount of arrests. A police SUV would better suit transporting more than two officers.

We need a police van! It can handle like 4 officers and 2 prisoners.

It would be quite realistic if these vans had to go to the scene and pick the prisoner up there, not get the patrol car to take the p

Do you have your numbers switched around? I think it would work better with two officers and 1-9 detained persons. Basing it off of a panel van would be my suggestion

Search and rescue would be handled by either fire or police (where I'm from, our county sheriff's offices run it). I'm thinking along the lines of the post above me, or even natural gas leaks (Black Hills Energy is responsible in my area), motorist assist/vehicle in ditch for tow trucks, transformer box out, stuff like that.

I'm hoping that a public works/municipal utilities thing would be optional, though, rather than a requirement for calls.

I was wondering if it were possible to have an enhancement to my dispatch center to be able to sort/change location in list of my patrol routes? I had created several patrol routes for various departments and had figured out the hard way that one of my first departments needed a second patrol route. It would be great to be able to move the new route to directly below the other route for that department.

Also, I think it was mentioned by someone else already, but the ability to have multiple dispatch centers would be great as my map grows bigger. Potentially, I could have a dispatch center for each county/city that I have stations for and then move buildings from one dispatch center to another in the event that I have too many/wrong stations under a certain PSAP.

    Thanks for the consideration!
