MY RECOMMENDATION: I'm currently using the feature, and I'm the only one in my association. DO NOT START WITH BIG; UNLESS YOU HAVE THE EQUIPMENT AND MANPOWER TO DO THIS, as I currently have 70 [Event] Calls. I'm currently running calls with 8 fire stations, 4 EMS stations, 2 Police Stations, and 3 Hospitals. The calls currently are in an area consisting of 2 states, and 7 different counties because I decided to try it on Big. (I live close to a state line, with 3 rivers and islands.) It is a great feature and i'm enjoying all the calls. Especially with so many requiring use of each type of station.

You can run an alliance event every 7 days for free.
If you want to start it sooner then 7 days then it's 20 coins.
You have options for Small, Medium, Big; which is the size of the area you want the calls to be in (dictated by a shaded area on your map window). You can also move the map to fit the area you want to respond in better.
Then you can set it to have a new call every 30, 45, or 60 seconds.
The total "Storm" run time is 2-3 hours, I can't remember the exact total time.

You will need Fire, EMS, and Police Stations for the scenarios.

It is a great feature. I think we should keep it.

On a response side note: If you have to cross a body of water (river, lake, ocean) with a ferry, the game treats it just like it is a road.

I actually thought about this, perhaps have a feature in the game, where we can purchase "Posts" It is only one level, and could only house 1 ambulance. but you could have a main station, then be able to assign the units to post from their, and rotate them as well. Would be an interesting feature.

Tell us about you in the Game, How many of each type of station you have, what is your game Rank, your alliance name? How many of each type of unit do you have?

    I currently operate:
    8 Fire Stations
    4 EMS Stations
    2 Police Stations
    3 Hospitals.
    1 Fire Academy

My rank in the game is Captain.

My alliance is the Midwest USA Association

There is a department out here in the next county over that has a Braun/Spartan Ambulances, they are three man EMS units and one also doubles as the Mobile Air Unit. West County Ems & Fire Protection District EMS Apparatus (see station 2 Apparatus) It would be nice if we could integrate the mobile air unit into other apparatus, quiet a few departments in my state are starting to integrate them into the Rescue Trucks. This would also open up a space in the stations.

I like the Collapsed Balcony call. On major incidents like this in my state we have what are called USAR units (Urban Search and Rescue) which respond to all trench, building, collapse, high angle rescue, major building fires, etc etc etc. Instead of having a bunch of different rescue vehicles, you could have your Heavy Rescue that respond to regular calls, MVC's, etc, and the USAR responds to major rescue calls.

There are 6 options for calls speed:

Extra Slow - Calls Generated Every 10 Minutes
Slow - Calls Generated Every 5 Minutes
Realistic - Calls Generated Every 3 Minutes (This is the game default when you create an account)
Normal - Calls Generated Every 1 Minute
Fast - Calls Generated Every 30 Seconds
Turbo - Calls Generated Every 20 Seconds (Requires a premium account)

    In case anyone didn't know.

You access and change these by clicking:
Profile (Profil in the game it's spelled wrong) > Mission Speed > Then click the green button above which ever speed you want.

Also after you change the speed it's a good Idea to press either CTRL+R or the F5 key (some PC's and Laptop it is CTRL+F5) to refresh the page after you change the speeds, to refresh the page ever so often to refresh calls, and units.

@EFD850 thank you for responding, I hadn't checked the forum in a few days. Pretty much what you said is what I was going to say. But yes different ranks and different levels.

For those asking, when you start an Association, you automatically become the Admin, after that it is up to the person who created the association to appoint different levels.

Right now you can have multiple admins, as well as multiple co-admins. my idea was to simply make it a more unified system much like those in the public safety sector today. Read what @EFD850 replied was along the same lines as what I was discussing.

Keep up with the good ideas and sharing the game.

    Hello,
I started volunteering 18 years ago, got my EMT-Basic 9 years ago. I have worked both full time and volunteer fire/ems. I was also an Executive Member of the Board for the Medical Reserve Corps in my former home area. My highest rank was Assistant Chief on a volunteer department I helped start. I am currently learning coding and software development, I am a singer/songwriter and play multiple instruments. I'm also a bit of a ScyFy/Zombie nerd. I am the owner of my own association, and I normally keep to myself.

If it's green, just it shows if there are any major events i.e. events you create, if it's red it won't show them. Much like if your Emergency is Green it shows the calls, if it's red it will not show the Emergency calls, same for alliance.

Welcome to the community Director Hayes.

    1. No updates, the game isn't very american or english if you will. Plus without a mobile app, I am constantly on the road and away from home, a mobile app would help.
    2. If there where improvements I would be on more regularly.
    3. More units, more customization features, more updates. I have a list of ideas, but that is for a different time.
    4. Right now, not likely, once improvements are made, then definitely I will tell people.

I agree. This American Based Fire Service Game, needs to actually be based on what we do in America. Most of the time in my area the fire department beats the ambulance by a good 2-3 minutes, sometimes longer if the EMS service is busy. In my county there are 16 ambulance stations, 14 are covered 24 hours, and 2 in the rural area are volunteer, there are at least 2 EMS Supervisor on 24/7 (I think that total is actually higher but I just moved out here so i'm not sure) I would have rather had Training in the School for FF's to be EMT's, or have an EMS Supervisor of the helicopter I will never purchase. I think it's time we take to the Mission Chief Facebook page. That seems to be the only REMOTE place they even look at our suggestions.

@EFD850 In the area I just moved from the truck companies where usually first in for medical calls, and I think they had just phased out the last tiller that didn't have a pump on it. In the new area I live in if the districts do have ladder trucks, they are all quint styles either with a 75' stick, or 105' platform. Run run first out of their station. But still agree the copter is useless.

I can see the helos as a minor, and I mean VERY MINOR benefit at this moment for those of us who play our stations in some rural areas. That being said I usually put a hospital fairly close to my rural Ambulance stations. This go round i'm actually placing everything where it is in my county just for kicks. But The helo has no benefit for this. I would like to see an EMS battalion chief, better utilized fire service vehicles. Only the large Cities have Ladder trucks without pumps, tillers, etc, and most of them are going to quint style ladder trucks as they can be utilized better. But I still am not going to pay 1 Million for a damn helo, that has the exact same purpose as an ambulance, with a very Mild payout.

If my testing serves me well, the Utility is the same as the Heavy Rescue Unit. At least that's how it seems to play out in my game. I don't have 11 stations yet, but the HAZMAT unit is needed at 11 stations, so it's good to train your guys early (aka fire academy for 500k), and then when you have 10 stations put in the hazmat unit to prepare for the 11th station. If anyone else has seen anything different please comment.

I currently have 8 FD's, 3 EMS, 4, 2 Hospitals, and 1 Fire Academy, which I am using to train 10 guys from each station. After that once the hazmat unit is purchased, I will assign those personnel only to the hazmat truck, so they can rotate out.

I would like to more assignment levels as well in the Associations.

    Admin could become Chief
Co-Admin's are Assistant Chiefs or Deputy Chiefs
    Battalion Chiefs
    Captains
    Lieutenants
    Driver/Operator
    Firefighter
    Rookie
    Probie

And be able to set an allowed amount of duties for each.
