I'd like a temporary option to change hospitals to clinics. I've got about 7 which I would downgrade as they're only really there for speed (but not realism) and I like the more realistic aspect for lower category medical incidents. The issue is I don't want to spend 700k (or however much it may be) replacing all of these facilities.

While for me this isn't an issue, I agree with the suggestion. For now, I would set each helicopter under its own "group", that way you can choose which one you want to dispatch at the time.

You must be a mind reader. I've been working on this aircraft for a while now and this exact paint scheme as the same charity also have a HEMS based at Coventry airport in my area. Will be done sometime this weekend.
They also have a non emergency children's air ambulance as well if I'm not mistaken which I will also do.
Awesome, thanks! I've been thinking about it for a while having had the helicopter in service in my layout for a few months. Up to now I've just used my AW139 from Melbourne.
They've got G-TCAA and G-PICU (both AW169) for the Children's Air Ambulance as well (my image).

Hey. I'd love to have an AW109 for the Air Ambulance Service (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance) if you've got some free time please.

The standard building images are 32x37.

I would use them as Quints. They serve one of the purposes that regular aerial appliances do and that's firefighting from above. No, they don't have rescue capabilities but there is no reason why you can't make the decision on what calls to send it to depending on scenario. If it's a stuck climber, for example, then it's not suitable but it would be suitable for an industrial fire or high rise fire. I suspect it has a camera on the boom too so could be useful for surveying without the need for someone in a basket.

This shouldn't be happening either way, feels like a new bug that came with the new EMS system
It was happening before the ENS update. I suspect it's to do with proximity of the fire station to the ambulance station. That's my theory and the only way I can explain it as the issue only originates from this one fire station.
-
You mentioned you have them assigned to separate dispatch centers...have you checked the option in your fire only dispatch center to create own coverage area? (Found under edit). Otherwise it will be reading all owned stations to determine what calls to generate.
Fair question but yes they're different dispatch centres and each have their own area.

I run a fire setup in two counties, one of which also has ambulance cover. Leicestershire has fire and ambulance, Derbyshire only has fire. I have two dispatch centres, one for each county. Despite this, I am getting ambulance calls for one of my stations in Derbyshire (Long Eaton) with the closest ambulance station some 12 minutes away and the next some 15 minutes away. I have attached a few images for more information.
Long Eaton: Fire station,
Loughborough and Coleville (beneath the 25): Fire and ambulance stations.[Blocked Image: https://i.gyazo.com/db83e68bf9a109add4cbb247c916b62a.png]
Example of a call requiring ambulance cover in Long Eaton.

Showing lack of ambulance stations assigned to Derbyshire.

I seem to remember this happening a couple of years ago when I had a set-up with police. Found this thread from 2016 regarding the matter too.
-
Oh great!
I shall keep that in mind. This is all new knowledge to me after only recently joining and unable to find such information in previous forum posts.
It never hurts to suggest anything. It was obviously a good idea because it's already been implemented. I agree though - it makes it a bit more dynamic to be able to have multiple graphics for the same vehicle type.
-
This is already a feature but you cannot use vehicle graphics packs in order to take advantage.
-
This thread is a little pointless to be honest. You can only click one item so if I wanted to click multiple then I couldn't.

these for the pre-created alliance missions. these dont have a list for that units are required. the only way to find out is to start the mission.
Which is why he is asking to know what units are required.
-
see possible mission section that will tell you all you need to know.
It doesn't say what required for alliance missions hence the post.
-
I completely agree with you here. Just like I want type 1 and 2 to be separated but I won't hijack your topic with that. The way I've gotten around it is to use groups for your HEMS instead. Edit the helicopter and select 'exclude from alarm and response' and then create a 'group' (in the menu under A&R). You'll have to create different groups for however many HEMS you have otherwise it'll send all at the same time.
-
Can you explain what's wrong with the answer above, can't seem to understand what you're asking for.
I believe what he's trying to say us that he only wants to see what missions are available with his setup. On the list, he only wants to see 'green' missions to avoid clutter.
-
I suppose the title here is mostly self explanatory. It would be beneficial for players who operate in multiple areas if one area gets busy with calls but another area is lacking.

This is all I've got. Simple, does the job. I either remember what each call needs or send a unit, then cancel if it's a complex call or one that might not require all units to be sent (i.e. roof fires not requiring BC or stuck climbers not requiring a platform).
