I did a quick search and didn't see this brought up before so here goes.

I think that the ARFF unit should be able to respond to other types of calls besides the airport ones, for instance an ARFF truck should be more than capable of handling a Brush Pile or car fire. Having just spend about 1mil credits on ARFF stuff between extensions, stations, trucks and training it seems kinda strange that the trucks end up being pretty worthless overall when in reality they are very capable vehicles.

Maybe they could function as both ARFF and Pumper-Tanker units ?(

Best bet is to just think of the sheriff as a supervisor type role. There is really no difference in real life other than jurisdiction between the two options we have in the game.

They need to make a way to not have missions spawn that you can't complete when they release new ones though. Gotta wait to train sheriffs now.

RIGHT!!!!!!! I only have one classroom and already have a swat class going, so it's going to be 10 days before I can complete a sheriff course, aka 10 days of missions just sitting there unless I drop a bunch of coins into the school. Poor planning at it's finest.

I don't know that I'd spend 105,000+ credits to gain access to one additional call... Unless it paid like 10,000 credits and happened all the time ;)

I loaded up the beta test on my Windows Tablet. It has windows 8.1 and I was running the game in Chrome. The tablet doesn't have a keyboard or mouse and is touch screen only.

I am able to move applications and resize applications, however I couldn't do so with the new windows for chat, missions, stations or the radio. I don't have any other touch screen devices to test it out with but it seems that you can't move or adjust the pop-outs with a touch screen.

I can understand it costing coins to move stations, no problemo, but it costs coins to move the dispatch center (which is free to build). I'd like to move mine but I'm not paying 10 coins to move it when I didn't spend anything to build it, and I really don't want to have to set up all my patrols again though ;(

I like this mission, as I find that I go to a fair number of these in the real world, however I would love for it to give me a patient or two every once in a while.

I'd say maybe a 10-30% chance of patient/transport, just requiring general internal.

I would like to see the soccer game standby mission limited to 1 at a time, or even be able to dismiss it or toggle standby missions off. I always seem to have 3 of those open and 15 emergency calls, I never send anything to the soccer games anyways.

For those who want to see what the beta looks like I recorded about 20 minutes of game-play in beta, you can watch it here if you want: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/201442067?t=

And as a note, I do have LSS3 on in the video running enhanced transports and mission info, those are not a part of the beta, those are LSS3 functions.

Overall I agree with William36, it's really nice to be able to move the windows around and resize them, and it would be nice if the dispatch window was streamlined in a way that made it 'fit' better with the beta redesign. I haven't found any bugs in the first 30 or so minutes of playing with it, everything seems to be working pretty smoothly.

They’re not needed in urban environment reasons which is what a lot of calls are based upon. If you’ve got hydrants you don’t need one.

We will consider calls it might be needed for in future updates.

Maybe consider adding it to the bulk trash fire?

I finally figured out the heat map, which was pretty cool, but I can't get the draw circles around stations function to work. I made a test account on http://www.leitstellenspiel.de and it worked on that site, but it doesn't work for me on http://www.missionchief.com

Also, the github wiki states that there is a night mode, however I wasn't able to find that on either http://www.leitstellenspiel.de or http://www.missionchief.com for either (running v3.2.4).

    Any insight?

I agree, my tanker is my lowest mileage unit, essentially its a waste of money and space that I have to send to a call once a week or so...

We send one engine, one ambulance and one EMS fly car to all full arrests. PD usually shows up, but it's not guaranteed.

Actually, we send an engine to most of our medical calls to assist EMS.

I like this idea but being a devils advocate, what would happen if your alliance members are using your units and you go online, now your without units. I think alliance stations would be a better idea.

I think a good system would be that if you went online you could cancel your units from the call as if you had sent them. Of course then you wouldn't get paid, so it would be beneficial to keep them on the call.
