Thank you all so much for LSSM!! I love it and it is super helpful. I am wondering if there is a way for me to see what other alliance members units or even just stations are available near a particular event without opening every station on the map.

I did have them assigned. I've done every combination I can think of and it won't roll

I have 20 dual trained truck driver/machinery operators in the station with my truck and dozer and it says I don't have qualified personnel every time

Best way to do that is by ARR "Alarm and Response Regulations"You can set an ARR to like:
"City One Firetruck"
"City Two Fire Truck"
The ARR requests the closest vehicle of that type.
If this still doesn't help im sorry. I tried to help the best I could.I appreciate you brother, nothing to be sorry about! I get AAR and have had lots of the set up over time. All I am saying that IRL the closest unit is not always the one you're going to get thanks to politics

Do you mean like a vehicle isn't allowed to go out of it's "jurisdiction" like a Small town FD. It's units cannot go out of the town?
I mean two city's border each other, the call may physically be closer to city 2, but it is within the boundaries of city 1, so city 1 units handle the call, but then if outside aid is needed then you can request the closest available

Yes it is, but the closest unit by geography is not always the unit that covers the political jurisdiction of the location. The department I use to work for has areas that units from the neighboring County can actually get to more quickly, but they were our calls because they were in our political jurisdiction.

apologies if this is redundant, but it would be nice to be able to establish station response boundaries. That way the first units brought up for dispatch would be the closest within that stations boundary, then cascade to closest by distance for available units.

I know its not quite the same, but as far as physically locating your units at a post, this can be done with a patrol route also.

I am having the same problem with one of my units. Plenty of staff, response area 400, code 2. I play on different platforms and it is not available on any of them.
Ended up trying the station swap and found out it was stuck in a bygone staging are.

Got them back! Thank so much!

I sent you an email.

thanks so much. I appreciate you guys!

it says they have transport requests

Thank you to the folks that have been working on this thread for me! Now my boats are code 5, I'm not sure if I can do anything with that either.

so I moved the traction vehicles to where the last SA for the boats was, then tried to dispatch them to a call as well as to the same SA and it just says that the traction vehicle is not in the station, so I allowed the traction vehicles to go all the way back to their stations and I get the same response. I even released the traction vehicles from the SA and immediately tried to dispatch the boats to a call as well as the SA and all the same response. I guess I will just have to delete and replace the boats.
-
Update: I placed another staging area near where I last dispatched my boats too, and they are available for that SA. I may just have to wait for a call to generate closer to the old SA to get them back.
-
right, I tried that and there are no available missions on the vehicle screen.
-
yes, I had them in a SA on 9-11

no, no active staging areas, Please see attached screen shots.
