This is what we consider small station!

Hello, I am going to keep this brief.
I am thinking that we should be able to outline an area where we can receive missions in. For instance, I have two station and get mission near them, but none in between. Of course, this could be optional. Would present a better challenge and would be more realistic.
Thank you!

Yea same! Haha

I really favour this idea as majority of my stations only have a couple units and as generic dispatcher said, we have many more volunteer stations as opposed to paid. The volunteer stations have only 1-3 units (majority with two units) but, what would make it fair, is if for units with 1/2 units, I used smaller stations and say smaller stations only housed two units, I could make any larger stations into normal.

It could be optional.

Bariatric is an interesting one. Maybe someone who is more versed in the dispatch codes can help me out but is there any identification in the dispatch codes for a bariatric patient. Maybe a B after the first number etc?
tbh, you could just have a call titled something like "bariatric incident" or whatnot and have the codes for certain types of calls if you know what I mean.
For instance, a call titled "Bariatric incident" with a patient code of 7-D-5 for a Long fall or 2-D-4 for a Snakebite etc. Btw, these codes are from https://wiki.radioreference.co…p/Priority_Dispatch_Codes and are use pretty much universally.

And honestly, all types of ems vehicles would be cool to have stationed at HEMS station bc for some, that's what it is irl

PLEASE READ ALL, TOOK A WHILE TO MAKE Thank you
Now, I've just seen the Facebook post about clinics. What does everyone consider a clinic? A doctor's office?
A very large majority of the time, ambulances are needed for emergencies. This in mind, I strongly do not understand, why the ambulance would be taking a patient having a emergency, to a place where people with non-emergencies go. This makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.
As mentioned in the Facebook post, clinics could house ambulances. For starters, the doctors office doesn't have ambulances, but it got me thinking. In a lot of the world, we have public (government run) and private (corporation run) hospitals. Quite a few private hospitals house their own ambulances. This could be a future expansion maybe?
As also mentioned in the Facebook post, the clinics could transport patients from clinics to hospitals. I believe there should be an option for players to say "rank" hospitals giving them levels (1 (world class) - 5 (minimum hospital)) saying how good the hospital's facilities are. Thus, a 5 hospital could have a transport mission to a 1-4 hospital, or a 3 hospital could have a mission to a 1-2 hospital etc.
Please let me know if anything did not make sense and I'll be sure to provide more info on my thoughts. I'd love to hear yours!

Was it planned?

Appears to be fixed now

My mission chief is taking too long to respond on both browser and mobile. Same for anyone else?

I strongly agree with this!

Thank you!

Greatly agreed. Say a fire truck (edit: or actually any vehicle at all) for landing zones? Would also be cool to see a requirement for some transfers where you need police motorcycles to escort the ambulance.
-
With the storage, all it is, is a building where you can swap or shift appliances from code 6 (in the storage building) and active duty. This adds a lot of realism as fire departments don't just get rid of a vehicle in the tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Another idea I had was that one building can be used to store ems and police as well.

I agreed with all points.

Okay, no need for negativity. We are just discussing possible ideas to then put forward to the moderator team. Well said me181.
Locke, just because you don't like this idea, doesn't mean you have to keep being negative about it. How would you like it if you had a cool idea and we kept being negative about it?

Members have to pay a set amount to use the vehicle for a certain time?
No idea about the staffing. Would have to know how it's coded.
Dunno about the others let's see what other's think?

A question for all the firefighters out there!
I'm probably being pretty dumb,
But,What is the difference between types of hoses? What would be really appreciated is if someone made a list of what things are out of the screenshot I have attached (only under hoses and couplings). Oops sent is twice :3
