also I think morenmedical calls should be added. Spinal injury, electrucution, and also patient transport services.
Many of those listed I really hope will be added.

Would be great to have a feature like this, there are so many fake alarms in real life so why not here on missionchief.
That could work too, but that wouldn't´t help on the space issue that the OP addressed with this type of ability.
so like a patient transport service?
Pretty much, ambulances that have no missions at the time that can be used for transport of patients to other facilities.
Would be great with the ability to e.g. have ambulances stationed at the hospital that can transport to other facilities to free up space or just send to another hospital with the right capabilities.
It would cause too much hazel than good, and on another note. Responding to nosebleed is common practice all over as it could actually be an underlying serious cause to it e.g. brain and so on. And as mentioned in the thread before, too much customization will cause too much irritation.
The plugin that you use to find out what units to use for the mission is still talking German and doesn't find the missions as they are not German Nice job so far, I like it !
Would like to hear the update about this.
We could also have medical calls like Broken bones, pregnant woman, Spinal Injury and Drug Overdose. Also Police calls like Body in water (POI River or Pond).

Every call you listed there is calls that I am interested in having in game, good thought.
Trust me. We've pushed for missions in water, boats, etc to be added to MissionChief. So far, it's a no go. We will keep trying!
Is it a no go due to other important things, or is it due to the lack of roads or capability in the code ?
Hi, I couldn't find anything where this had been suggested before but I think it would be a more realistic option if there was a probability that on minor medical such as the fallen person or nosebleed the patient refuses transport. Such as if a fire engine or fly-car can partially treat a patient, maybe a 30% chance that the patient will not need an actual ambulance.
Happens quite a lot, so it would be cool to see that kind of thing in game as well. Would be good to avoid having to spend maybe an hour to transport a nosebleed patient to a hospital, because one is full and you need to go further away.
As Gavin said, thats mostly caused due to lack of personnel. I usually assign at least one to each vehicle so every one of them can be deployed either way
Display MoreHi,
So basically I've got a quick question. Is there a place to see the different permissions of each admin roles?
If not, what exactly can the Co-Admin do? And do the Co-Admins need to be Education / Finance / Transport admins aswell to be allowed to do those things? Because I'm kind of unclear of what they're able to do.
It seems the Co-Admins can't kick members from the alliance, nor do anything the Education / Finance / Transport admins can do. Hence I really don't see anything the Co-Admin can do besides seeing the Admin Threads on the Alliance Forum?
Would have been great with an overview over the permissions of each specific admin roles.
Thanks in advance
I cannot answer all the questions, but some however I can. Co-admins as you and I know may not kick members nor ban them from joining, but they are capable of adding members to the alliance ( accepting requests to join the alliance )
They also have the capability to start alliance events for free every 7th day along with large scale alliance missions every once a day.
Over to the education admin, they are the ones who can setup schools and start courses by using the funds gathered by the alliance itself.
Transportation admins are the ones who can override the requests of patients or prisoner transports, so lets say a player hasn't transported their "patient/prisoner" over a long period of time, the transportation admin may then step in and do it for them instead.
Finances admin are the ones who pretty much decide how much discount each and everyone in the alliance should have when it comes to the school courses, correct me if I am wrong but I also believe they decide how the finances should be used in for example building constructions.
Yes, it's something those in my alliance can use. Effectively pulls information from a public page using PHP, processes it in variables then produces it into an image using the GD library.
Smart technique, too bad I cannot join your alliance, Jason
Ah, noticed that now. Didn't figure out how to create it, though

Norwegian Emergency Services
We are now recruiting members for our alliance.
Are you stationed in Norway, active and alone without an alliance. If that is you, why not consider applying for our alliance with 44 members and half of them active. Over the past year we've earned
52,289,640 Credits |
and that is hard work that has paid off.
We have stations all around Norway, from top to bottom. Fire and police schools scattered and several hospitals along with the newly added airport fire departements.

That being said, if you're new to mission chief we are willing to teach you exactly how this works if you wish to become a member. Currently we are only accepting members from Norway, but in the future we might start accepting more openly from Europe in general.
That being said, we are Norways #1 biggest.
Kind regards
Co Admin
Hey,
Any way or method to create a signature that is interactive, ex. Jason as an example ?
I was thinking of this incident as unfortunately it does happen in railway stations and it would make more use of the Train Station POI.
The call would require 4 Type 1's, 2 Heavy Rescues, 2 battalion chief, 1 ambulance, the Train Station POI and it would pay out 3K. It would also always have one casualty with trauma speciality.
Yes please, is there a way to implent maybe most of the missions from Germany and dutch version ?
Display MoreBefore i continue i am basing this off British units and im not sure if any of these exist in the US however consider them being implemented as fictional units, I also know that some of these have been discussed previously but i want to go a bit more in depth. I am suggesting some to make the game a bit more in depth as you could argue that some of these rolls would be fulfilled by units in game but if we have separate units for some then it would give us more in depth game play and would give more units to both EMS and police.
Police
A lot of these units are used by police forces in the US.
Units
Police van, would be required at 7 police stations, unit would cost 10K, would be required at mass brawls and public order incidents, it could also be used as a patrol car, it holds 6 officers and can transport 3 suspects.
K-9 unit, would be required at 9 police stations, Unit would cost 11K and would require advanced training, this unit would be required for incidents such as hostage taking etc, It would also fulfil the role of 2 police cars however it cant transport anyone, it would hold 1 officer.
Police command unit, Unit would cost 19K, would be required at 14 Police stations and would have to attend all high profile incidents involving police. It would require advanced training ad can carry a maximum of 6 people.
Traffic unit, Unit would cost 7K, Would be required at 6 police stations, it would attend road accidents and can also be used as a normal patrol car, it can carry 2 people.
Light Swat unit, unit would cost 10K, Would be required at 10 police stations, it would require SWAT training, 2 of these would count as 1 SWAT truck, it can carry 2-4 people.
Bomb squad, would be required at 13 police stations, unit would cost 15K and require special training. It would be sent to unexploded bomb calls or terror incidents. it would carry 2 people
Training
K-9 Training, It would take 3 days to complete
EOD Technician, It would take 7 Days to complete
Sargent training, It would take 5 days to complete ad can be used on any personnel in any vehicle and would speed up the completion of large police incidents
Buildings
Large Custody Facility, this building would cost 300K and it can hold 15 prisoners
EMS
Units
Ambulance Rescue, Would cost 12K, would be able to treat patients to the level of fly cars and would also be able to attend fire jobs and fulfil the role as a Heavy Rescue. It would also require special training and can carry up to 4 paramedics
Ambulance Command unit, unit would cost 19K and would be required at all large casualty incidents (10+), it would require specialist training and would carry up to 6 people
Ambulance Hazmat, Unit would cost the same as fire Hazmat and could fulfil the role of fire hazmat but its personnel could treat the patients to a higher level than the fire one, it would require special training and it would carry up to 6 people
Mass Casualty Unit, Unit would cost 15K and would have to ability to transport 8 Casualties, it would carry up to 4 paramedics
Edit to HEMS, it would require 3 you to have three people in one helicopter
Training
USAR Training, this would take 5 days and would be required for the heavy rescue unit
Command unit, this would take 5 days and would be required for the command unit.
Hazmat training, would take three days.
Emergency Doctor training, This training can be used for any paramedics and would decrease the chance of casualties having to be transported to hospital, this would be required for the air ambulance and it would take 7 days.
Buildings
Ambulance Training School, Would cost 500K and have all of the upgrade options of the police and fire schools
These are just a few ideas, feel free to debate it but if you are going to debate it can you look at it from a bigger picture rather than what your local area uses.
Love the idea, nothing to add and nothing to remove. Please implent.
How do you keep track, and how is it to play when you have hundred of stations ?
