my suggestion - assuming you dont want to be realistic is 1 type 3 - 2 type 4 and a tanker at each station you build, and or 2 semi/dozer team setup

This was brought up in the past , but since it was old - ill do a new thread - can the drunk driving call be adjusted to 2 patrol needed, and a chance for a prisoner, i was a dispatcher once- and any suspected DD call 2 units were sent- and about 50% of the time the subject was arrested
-
tks for the info
-
currently i have just 3, and all assinged to same dispatch center, havent decided where to place more yet
-
The purpose of the crew carrier is to bring additional personnel to a scene, in theory, this will help reduce call timers as more personnel on scene, the faster the time for the call to clear.
form what iv seen- the crew carrier only works for wildland fires, not for general use, unless its been updated
-
currently there is no training for medics, you can send any non ambo unit to a call and they will treat to 10% otherwise i thnk there is a update in the works for the US-MC in regards to medical calls, just have to wait
-
yeah- its called the volume control on your computer or speakers
-
idk abt the rest of the NR but in Cental NY, specifically 2 counties iv lived in, the sheriff is elected and does have depuities. theydo regular law enforcement. run county jails. and do serve papers.
-
i dont have any info - but try this link - its to the port authority PBA, they might be able to help https://papba.org/contact/
-
and as a collorary to this thread - iv seen my large fire boats sometimes take land routes to calls,
-
First thing first I would like to see is a winch rescue capacity for both Police and fire Copter like the CHP's and (I believe) the CalFire's can do IRL coming along with winch rescue missions.
not to mention Coast guard or military Heli that do assist civilian agencies in SAR or other life saving calls
-
or even the aircraft crashes off the airport land, or the tanker truck fires
-
i havent gotten it yet- but if an ambulance isnt required - it should be .
-
@manfromcny - can you cite your source for that please? I haven't seen that.
And also - just based upon my experience living in MT/WY/CT the new missions are missions that a sheriff (and/or constable) would perform (especially in terms of evictions and service of papers and certain warrants. Based on the missions to which a Sheriff is assigned, I disagree that this is a captain or a Lt unit.
Sheriff Units <---- click that link

Yea, we have started many. And it will just take the time honestly. It kinda sucks that it takes 4 days. I would like it better if it’s 3 especially when it’s a sheriff unit. We may as well just make patrol units require “police” training. Lol.
just to pass on here - apparently "sheriff" was misnamed- should be Lt or Cpt. so "sheriff" training should be considered leadership training( info in other threads in forum)

I got another suggestion. I have noticed that the drunk driving callout in game right now requires ONE police unit. I don’t think that’s at all realistic for a call like that. Usually there would be at least 2 or 3 Patrol cars on scene and if needed a K-9 unit. (In this game the K-9 can also serve as a DUI unit). So, I would like to see a larger unit requirement and maybe a higher payout for that call. Because right now 1 Police unit to a drunk driving call is not realistic.
Thank you for your hard work as always, the MC Team!
also there should be a chance for transport, if the driver fails the field test , hes going to jail
-
granted its an alliance mission not event- but alliance admins can create their own wildfire mission just making use of mostly wildfire type units
-
Unconfirmed at this stage, but sheriff needs to count as a patrol car and have the ability to transport prisoners.
i can confirm - sheriff does not transport- and should - some places in the US that is the only law enforcement
-
just takes research- the big thing you you it seems if the alliance allows overlapping buildings, just have to find one that does allow it

At the rate of which officers are reportedly down, I'm very surprised I actually have any police officers available for service...
better upgrade their body armor then
