Airport to Hospital transfers are a regular call. Not a patient transfer mission. It shows up in the first tab (Emergency Missions) not the second tab (Transfer Missions). These do not use the clinic.

    Patient Transfer from Flight

    Cheers,

The issue is the ARR not the unit itself. The ARR is either setup for a custom vehicle class OR it is setup as a different default vehicle type.

The default vehicle classes are at the top of the ARR customisation, with "Foam Vehicles" being the last one. Below that are custom vehicle classifications.

When setting up ARR for Fire Prevention/Investigation units, you are presented with 3 options:

    * Fire Investigator Unit

    * Fire Prevention Unit

    * Fire Investigation

If you use Fire Investigation it will select both FIUs and FPUs.

Based on the screenshot of the error message, it is only looking for Fire Investigator Units and not looking for Fire Prevention Units. It seems that your vehicles are Fire Prevention Units (without seeing the unit setup screen for the units that are not responding).

This is how I setup my Fire Prevention single vehicle ARR, so it will send the closest FIU or FPU:

    Cheers,

That is attempting to send them via the ARR.

Is the Arson unit on the screen setup in the ARR correctly?

Are you able to send that unit via manually clicking the checkbox beside it and dispatch?

Was the Fire Investigator Unit ARR built to send both Fire Prevention and Fire investigation or only Fire Investigation? or was it set based on a customised ARR?

I have a "Fire Investigation" ARR, setup to dispatch both Fire Prevention Units and Fire Investigator Units (since they both do the same thing), and have not had any issues. The ARR shows a Red "X" indicating that it is either not in range or not available. Which would lead me to believe that Arson 1 is not setup for that particular ARR since it is showing Status 2 (In Quarters).

I am trying to put this guys in my auto dispatch setup and it keeps telling me they are not 10-8 for dispatch when they are. I have tryed moving the id tags around with no luck. Has someone else had the problem and know a fix for it?

Are these Fire Investigator or Fire Prevention Units?

Fire Investigators require additional training in Peace Officer.

Fire Prevention Units do not require any additional training and will cover the "Fire Investigator" requirement.

The only difference between the 2 units, is that the Fire Investigation will dual-purpose as a Patrol Car with prisoner transport capabilities.

    Cheers,

I know with LSSM, I've pretty much only used single vehicle dispatch as I have the vehicle requirements right on the screen with me.

With that, I've created hotkeys so I can use my keyboard for quick dispatch:

Quick question on the above and to refresh my memory. Will a Pumper Tanker cover the requirement for both a firetruck and a water tanker if sent?

Also, I seem to recall that a quint would cover a firetruck and aerial appliance and a mobile command would also cover a battalion chief, or are my brain cells deteriorating?

    ^^

    You are correct.

There are numerous vehicles that can act as dual-purpose in this way:

    FIRE

Quint - Engine and a Platform

Rescue Engine - Engine and an HRV

Mobile Command - Batallion Chief and MCV

Pumper-Tanker - Engine and Water Tanker

Type 3 Engine - Structure Engine and Bushfire Engine

Fire Investigation Unit - Fire Prevention and Patrol Car (transporting)

    EMS

EMS Rescue - HRV and an EMS Fly-Car

HAZMAT Ambulance - HAZMAT and ALS Ambulance

EMS Fire Engine/Ambulance - Firetruck and ALS Ambulance

Tactical Ambulance - Patrol Car (non-prisoner transporting) and ALS Ambulance

EMS Mobile Command - EMS Chief and EMS Mobile Command

ALS Rescue Ambulance - HRV and ALS Ambulance

    POLICE

    K-9 Unit - Patrol Car (non-transporting) and K-9

SWAT SUV - Patrol Car and SWAT

Sheriff - Patrol Car and Sheriff

    Courtesy of manfromcny:

If you do use the hazmat ambo - you will need to train at least one other person in Hazmat- most call need 4 staff- the ambo only carries 3 .

And be careful of the ambo combos- they might transport before the call is completed- then you will need an additional unit to finish the call

I think I got them all.

    Cheers,

In the app, if you click the question mark button at the bottom, this will bring you to a help window.

In the help window, the top bar will have a magnifying glass (to search the help files) and a chat box (to contact support). If you go into the chat box, it will allow you to send a message to support.

    Hope this helps,

Patient Transfer missions are generated when you have a Clinic built. They trigger to transfer the patient from the Clinic to a Hospital.

These can be BLS or ALS level calls depending on the MPDS determinant.

    Cheers,

I'm not sure how long you've been away, but it sounds like for quite some time.

I believe there have been a lot of new packages brought out since then, off the top of my head:

    - Fire Prevention (Details of which are available here:

    https://xyrality.helpshift.com…-are-available-us-version

    - EMS Content Pack (EMS Mobile Command, Mass Casualty, EMS Operations Support)

    - Foam Content (Foam Extension, Foam Trailers and Foam Requirements)

    - Bushfire/Forestry/Wildfire - Details of which are available here:

    https://xyrality.helpshift.com…-are-available-us-version

    - Federal Police

Here is a bit of a change log going back to June:

    https://xyrality.helpshift.com…ief-1625055629&l=en&p=ios

    To answer your questions specifically:

After having had a bit of a break I’m back to playing and noticed a few changes. Can someone give me some advice on the three new fire units that have appeared, Pumper Tanker, Crew Carrier & Crew cab semi. What do they do and are they worth having?

The Pumper-Tanker was introduced as a combination unit, dual-purpose on calls as both a pumper (aka an Engine) and a Water Tanker.

With this update, you'll also notice some calls now have a water requirement (ie, the call requires X gal of water to be present). Water Tankers carry more than Pumper-Tankers.

Crew Carrier is a support vehicle, basically used to increase manpower on a call, to help speed up the call.

Crew Cab semi requires operators have a Commercial Drivers License, it allows you to pull heavy-duty trailers such as a Dozer trailer for bushfire.

See additional bushfire expansion details here:

    https://xyrality.helpshift.com…-are-available-us-version

Also what does all the new EMS stuff do? Do I need them or am I good with my ALS Ambulances & EMS Chiefs.

EMS Chiefs have been enhanced, they can now auto-release ALS Ambulances to a hospital, this must be set individually for each EMS Chief within the vehicle settings.

    New vehicles include:

EMS Mobile Command: This vehicle is required on calls with 25 or more patients, shortly after release, a change occurred which will allow you to train personnel in EMS Mobile Command not be specifically staff the Command vehicle. (IE, an EMS Chief with EMS Mobile Command trained personnel can cover a requirement for a call with 25+ patients).

EMS Operations Support: This is operational support vehicle, it is increase in manpower, and like the crew carrier for Fire calls, it will help speed up patient treatment & release or transport.

Large Ambulance Stations now have an extension to Mass Casualty, which will allow mass casualty trailers to be pulled. These trailers can attend the scene of a large patient event and treat multiple patients and releasing those who can be released or handing off to an ambulance for transport.

Tactical Ambulance: Tactical Medics are ambulance that go into high-risk police tactical scenarios to treat, extract and transport patients. In MissionChief, these vehicles act as both the ALS Ambulance requirement and Patrol Car (non-transporting) requirement. Tactical Medic Training is required for this,

HAZMAT Ambulance: (aka CBRN Medics) are ambulances that go into chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) situations with specifically trained paramedics who can go into a hazardous material/CBRNE situation to treat, extract, decontaminate and transport patients. In MissionChief these vehicles act as both HAZMAT and ALS Ambulance requirements. HazMat training (through a Rescue Academy) is required.

ALS Rescue Ambulance acts as an HRV & ALS Ambulance on scene.

EMS Fire Engine/Ambulance acts as a Pumper and Ambulance on scene. This requires ALS Medical Training for Fire Apparatus from the Rescue Academy.

NEW BUILDING: Rescue Academy, which can now train EMS special training.

I’ve already discovered I need some Sheriffs and presumably there’s missions available if I build a federal station and get FBI?

    Thanks in advance.

Sheriff's are required units, they are like Police Supervisory units and are required on numerous calls.

FBI/Federal Police is a new building that you can deploy for specialised Fedpol missions, the units available are:

    - FBI Unit

    - FBI Investigation Wagon

    - FBI Mobile Command Centre (requires FBI Mobile Centre Commander training)

    - FBI Bomb Technician Vehicle (requires FBI Bomb Technician training)

    - FBI Surveillance Drone (requires FBI Drone Operator training).

FBI Surveillance Drone is not required on any call as of yet, however can be used in place of FBI Investigation Wagon on specific calls.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

There presently is not an option to automatically share with the alliance, this must be manually done.

On the desktop version, you could hold the 'E' key down and let it go through all the missions.

    Thank you,

    Code
    Hi there,
Since yesterday I have the phenomenon that the menu item "Tasks and Events" and the profile icon are highlighted in green with the "New" lettering, even when I open the event window, and so the events are actually no longer new.
Logout and delete cookies did not change anything.

After you go into the Tasks and Events menu, does it then disappear or does it remain?

Also, if you try going into a different computer or mobile version, does it still show as new?

    Thank you,

i actually dot have the EMS standdown activated, and in any case the Rescue/ambo will leave the scene with patients still needing an ambo, and any unit treating with the ambo will als leave the scene, needing to send it back for mission completion

    My apologies, I misunderstood.

Is the Rescue/Ambulance going Status 7 or does it go to Status 1?

    Cheers,

I believe this is related to the EMS standdown issue for premium accounts?

    See the following:

    EMS Command & Premium Auto-EMS Standdown (5 June 2021)

Hazmat Ambo and EMS engine (31 Jan 2021)

EMS Rescue EXCLUDED from Automatic EMS Standdown (17 Sept 2020)

I've had to turn off EMS Auto-Standdown myself due to EMS Rescue, CBRN Medics, TAC Medics leaving the scene when there is no more patients left to treat (either other ambulances are treating them or no more patients).

Just buy a small ambulance station and place it on top of or directly next to the fire station

I would agree with this statement. It really makes the most sense.

I build realistically as well, place the EMS station directly on-time or beside the fire station achieves the exact same result as the expansion with the following benefits:

    - Station available immediately, versus having to wait 7-8 days

    - Cheaper cost (no cost to upgrade from small to large station, no cost for the ambulance expansion).

    - 1 ALS Ambulance provided with the station + Cheaper bay expansions for the next bay

    - Two personnel readily available, instead of having to hire.

Based on my calculations below, that is a savings (assuming you have not past the 25 FD stations) of 215 000 credits & 7-8 days, plus an additional 50 000 credits for the first bay expansion.

    STANDALONE AMBO STATION
    100k, 1 free ALS Ambulance, 3 staff
    No Waiting, Ambulance available immediately

    LARGE FD W/ AMBO EXPANSION
50k Small FD + 50k Upgrade to Large (below 25 stations)
+ 100k for the Extra Bay
    + 100k for the Expansion
+ 15k for the ALS Ambo
    + 7 Days Waiting & Hiring
