I would love to put up custom units for my local area, but I can't bring myself to have the default markers for alliance members
That is the one downside unfortunately - It would be great to merge the custom icons with the graphics pack option so that you could override unit icons where required, but keep the graphics pack on in the background as a kind of default?

I feel it'd be worth mentioning that most of my unit names come from this Wikipedia article, which I know is very much outdated, and based only on Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. Also, any of the units I upload are not necessarily finished, I will be tweaking many of them for the foreseeable future.

I've been struggling for a while to find graphics packs that are quite what I'm looking for, however recently I came across two pieces of information. The first is that you are able to upload individual unit graphics if you do not have a graphics pack. This means I can fully customise the looks of each of my units. However, I wasn't really able to do much as I hadn't the first clue about editing or creating graphics. The second piece of information I came across is Krys's Graphics Tutorial (Linked). This showed me how to do basic editing on GIMP (similar to paint, see the tutorial for details). I wasn't ready to make graphics from scratch yet, so I thought I would toy around with editing already made graphics. The ones which I already preferred are Pottyscotty's "Generic UK|" and "London UK|" Full Graphics Packs, as well as bankiesbhoy999's Scottish Emergency Vehicles graphics pack. They have since become the basis for my tinkering.
Using GIMP and images of generic vehicles (Mainly fire appliances) across the UK on google images, I have created an expanded pack and with both creators' permission, I am posting them up and suggesting what I use them for in-game! I will be uploading in no particular order, and some will be unedited. If you have any suggestions, critiques etc, feel free to say, but please bare in mind I'm very new to this! 
Any graphics which I use solely from the graphics pack will be specifically tagged as so, and all credit for them goes to the original creator.
