There are in fact missions of the same type that require different resources, perhaps to show that no two incidents are the same.
This only occured after adding the HART (SORT) station
The same question remains how to tell them apart?

You should probably post this one in the UK thread
eek, could a mod please move this and trim, this was not supposed to be there and I made sure it was in UK
Now noticed the US category is at the top, even though I use .co.uk
Does anyone have strategy or technique for this?
I am now getting several exactly identically worded missions, but they have different requirements / there are two or more versions of the same mission name
I have slowly been building up my buildings and resources to closely reflect real-life in Scotland (UK)
Ambulance (Rescue) -
I had a Linwood Ambulance Station as a temporary building
I recently added HART (SORT) West and then moved all the resources out of Linwood
I then moved four of the CBRN and staff (HART training) to SORT West
However as the HART station was active I found I needed SRV, PRV, and Welfare
This was then doubled to meet demand, and seems to be in equilibrium now with two of each
I have noticed many missions I had setup in ARR now require SRV, PRV and Welfare
Does this mean they are now split, or as there is now a HART Station the missions without will be ignored?
I am now getting the expected number of this mission per mission cycle
However once deployed the missing vehicles script does not run correctly

Missing Vehicles: <span class="translation_missing localeapp" title="translation missing: en_GB.vehicle.missing_oneof_mountain_atv_or_search_and_rescue_atv">Missing Oneof Mountain Atv Or Search And Rescue Atv</span>
MISSIONCHIEF.CO.UK - Build and manage your own fire brigade!
This mission does not require the ATV, so I did not deploy one!
You can check how many of each building and extensions you have via the dispatch centre.
I have compared my spreadsheet versus the Statistics tab and they do not match
Equally, it only shows some of the active buildings
Fire - 66 (52 active)
Statistics - 38
General Practice - 57 (0 active)
Statistics - 0
A&E (Urgent Treatment) - 38 (0 active)
Statistics - Missing / unknown
Hospital - 31 (0 active)
Statistics - 24
Anything greyed out will be because you do not meet the requirements for the others to spawn.
If you are not getting many mountain rescue missions spawning in at all, it may be because of the ratio of other buildings, e.g. having 2 mountain rescue stations and 200 fire stations, mountain rescue missions will spawn far less frequently.
Yes I am aware of the emphasis on valid missions or insufficient resources
Finally, I have had the sole Mountain Rescue mission, once
It took about 800 missions before it appeared
At the same time built the Search and Rescue, and activated the HART Base
The ratio of HART Base missions is about 10%
I am wondering if the missing ATV Vehicle has caused the issue
Is there any information on the minimum number and type of vehicles?
As an aside, is there any short cut to show how many of each type of building there is?
According to my spreadsheet current :
Fire - 66 (52 active)
Ambulance (Rescue) - 82 (72 active)
HART Base - 1 (1 active)
General Practice - 57 (0 active)
A&E (Urgent Treatment) - 38 (0 active)
Hospital - 31 (0 active)
Police - 56 (41 active)
Search and Rescue -1 (1 active)
Mountain Rescue - 1 (1 active)
No clue how you are searching - this is how to locate Mountain Rescue / SAR missions: (Please note the scroll bar for mountain rescue)
Same method
When I select Mountain Rescue there are only two missions, 755 and the version that requires the HART Base
All others are greyed out
None of the Mountain Rescue missions have Search and Rescue HQs as a requirement to generate.
Please check that the missions are highlighted green to show you meet the requirements for them to spawn
I could have sworn it was Search and Rescue HQ, but it is Rescue (I really wish it was called Ambulance)
[edit - I added the Search and Rescue HQ in order to obtain the Task award]
When I select Mountain Rescue there are only two missions
MISSIONCHIEF.CO.UK - Build and manage your own fire brigade!
Rescue Station
Mountain Rescue Station
HART Base for the second one
For the Search and Rescue HQ there is only one mission
MISSIONCHIEF.CO.UK - Build and manage your own fire brigade!
Search and Rescue HQ
This has also never appeared
As for the missions spawning in one area - Open your station and scroll to the bottom, select set mission spawn area. Here you can select where your missions will spawn, choose up to 5 seperate areas of varying sizes.
This works as my missions spawn all over my selected area.
I have taken advantage of this new content and credit awards
When I looked at the Possible missions I then realised I also need the -
Search and Rescue HQ
HART Base (which I already had by moving the vehicles and staff from an existing Ambulance Station, and then deleting it)
I then set the Service Status for each to In Service
I set the Mountain Rescue spawn area to 40km
I have cleared out at least 200 missions and still not had one Mountain Rescue mission (for this credit award)
Any ideas?
I think it'll be exceptionally hard for any free to play players to be able to afford it though, so far just with basic research I have a bill of about 10.5m for covering a section of Scotland
I probably fall into this category, I grind for credit awards
Once every three months I purchase coins as I just simply cannot get enough skilled staff
I used to use coins to relocate buildings, but I now just destroy the building, take the refund and build a new building with credit awards
With 50% off the first building I am very tempted
However it is at the extreme of my map (at the moment), although I would need two in the short term
I can then leave the building Switched Off until later...
Mountain Rescue
introduces the new unit "Search Dog Unit" which is available in all SAR stations and Home Response Locations (HRLs).The SAR 4x4 has had crew capacity increased from 1 to a maximum of 4 persons.
The Crew Carrier is now also available in the Search and Rescue HQ
I am trying to mirror UK (Scotland) services
Sadly the service in Scotland has become rather fragmented recently
I initially thought it was part of Police with one voluntary organisation
Equally, the Police now only provide support with each voluntary organisation for each area
I have therefore rolled back to what the operation closely resembled in 2023
This is where a number of major Police stations have a Mountain Rescue unit (extension)
Are there any plans to include this?
For example, my first area would be Lomond
This would be
Dumbarton Police (extension)
Lomond Mountain Rescue
Obviously in the short term I can lump it all into Lomond Mountain Rescue
Not just US, affects UK
Luckily the default Water Ladder appeared
Probably due to cronjob lag, I allow a variance of 60 seconds throughout
I have seen some assignments sit for up to 59 seconds before swapping to the next task
I just dont get it. she does not have a hospital or an ambulance station standalone or in a FD
Sadly the mission is setup for a Fire Station only, which also requires a patient to be treated, but the requirement for a Rescue (Ambulance) station is missing
There are other similar missions which cannot be completed as an element is missing
I therefore just leave these to time out
Appears to be partially correct
I have looked at other Fire missions, if an Ambulance is required, then a Rescue Station is a requirement
The entry is missing, so is ignored
Will highlight this for it to be changed.
Potentially a lost in translation with the DEVs.
Could we have an update on this please
There is a course called Specialist Paramedic Training, which takes 5 days to complete.
This will give you trained personnel for the vehicle.
I have not (yet) seen any missions that require this separation
Thanks! Probably Gonna Stick to the GP unit for now then
I use the RRV and assign the Critical Care, it is then easier to identify
As above, I noticed the Specialist Paramedic RRV does not (yet) have a specific trained person, so I do not use it either
The GP is equally a duplicate of the RRV, but again it makes it easier to identify
I tend to use this in rural locations, in between two Ambulance Stations
RPU
Add Planned Event => Escort Wide Load
One Traffic Car only
Two Traffic Cars
Two Traffic Cars and multiple Traffic Motorbikes (do we have those?)
Add Planned Event => Escort Prisoner Transfer
Three Traffic Cars
Add Planned Event => Escort High Risk Prisoner Transfer
Three Traffic Cars and two Armed Vehicles
As an aside we do not really have courts and prisoner transfer vehicles
