I haven't tried it yet but I think you can't
You need to train s.w.r. for the normal boats and ocean navigation for the larger boats
2 different trainings for 2 different tasks/vehicles -
Ok. The reason I ask is that I have a utility and trailer at a boat dock, with people trained in SWR, but it cannot be sent to swr missions, which seems to defeat the purpose of having them stationed there.

I have a utility with a crew of 4 and i've sent it to missions that needed boats and it worked fine -
If the 4 Men of the Utility Unit are trained in SWR, u can send them to swift water rescue calls
