I have noticed i have been getting a large amount of swat jobs lately, is this normal as i would have thought these types of jobs would be far less common. I only have one swat station with 8 vehicles inside. I'm getting more swat jobs than any other job, is this normal? i have about 24 fire stations, 20 police and 14 ambulance.

The calls you get are randomized, this means there may be a time when you get more of one type of call than the other, that's not a bug, just your luck on that day.
