Unable to purchase FBI Bomb Technician Unit at Police Station after purchasing FBI Extension and training 2 bomb technicians and transferring2 others from an FBI station. I am, however, able to purchase FBI drones and FBI investigation wagons.
There are many departments in the U.S. that have bomb disposal teams. Many also have narcotics officers, so DEA vehicle might be good to have too.

I am giving up on this. Our alliance submitted a great idea for a mission. We are not to resubmit or we will automatically be denied. We frequently run our submission as an Alliance Mission and it is a favorite of the members. I see several other great ideas. I also see others that are either duplicates or ridiculous. Many of the new Monday Missions that are produced are either duplicates or ridiculous.

As for the Tactical Trucks, they are just 4-man SWAT units with personnel having Tactical Training. I have a few just in case, but use them as SWAT units.
-
Developers.... Its time to fix what you have already added. You have vehicles that are not used ever. like ATV trailers, Tactical Rescue Truck. Police Motorcycle never count as a police unit on any call(problem for a long time). And they are never required. Ambulance trailers they don't help at all. They don't care for patients any more than a cop. Wildfire air support, I have purchased 10 spots for lead planes, helos, smoke jumpers. But can only use 6 of the 10.. Cant buy anymore. I have 4 smoke jumper planes that I can not buy or use. Please fix existing issues. Dont include vehicles that are not even needed/used.
What you say is true. I'm sure these units were created for a reason. I've also discovered that certain types of units are useful in different versions of Mission Chief, but useless in others. Your alliance Board should have a post describing the different units and discussing which are valuable in your version and which are not. To me, the value in these units is to players who want to replicate fleets in real-life departments. That isn't necessarily valuable in Mission Chief, but some like to play that way.

I've created dedicated stations for the new Traffic Control equipment, both for police and fire. Some trained personnel in all stations, at least one station with all personnel trained. Bought the equipment. I run a close to realistic setup, so these stations are built at designated city tow pounds and so named.
In any event ... NO MISSIONS YET that call for these units. And there's nothing on the Possible Missions List for them.
This looks like the same kind of fiasco we saw with Water Rescue before realizing all sailors had to be cross trained to make it work.
Maybe someone else knows what I might be missing? -
You don't mention having trained personnel.
-
The true answer could be that not all of the other mission requirements have been met. Maybe not enough stations of required type. Not enough of the required vehicles. Not enough trained personnel within those vehicles. Some in our alliance with technical rescue and USAR, have had equipment that mismatched the personnel aboard. We also learned a long time ago that to get coastal rescue missions to spawn, it's wise to cross train all sailors.
It can be tedious trying to figure it out sometimes. -
Yes, I have LSSM on one of the computers I play on. It's of no help on the others.
Yes, I know about the Dispatch Center Log. It's of no help weeks after I've done an extension or training. -
I wish there was a better way to keep track of completed extensions and trained personnel. When you have hundreds of stations and thousands of personnel, it's easy to overlook an extension you might've created and never fulfilled with equipment and trained people. Conversely, I've trained people when a course was offered and either forgot to buy the equipment or couldn't afford to buy it at the time.
Some people keep spreadsheets. I am not quite tech savvy enough for that. Whenever I want to train people for a new unit or extension, I write it down on a legal pad.
I would like to see an easier way to keep track of these within the game. Maybe an icon, even if just a letter, appearing on the name of the station signifying an extension is there. Perhaps a sortable page listing all trained personnel with their locations. -
Is there a way to permanently disable the Vehicle Display Bar? Having to click on it multiple times just to run a Control-F search for a particular type of vehicle is annoying! I don't want to have to set new ARRs for one of each and every type of vehicle.

The USFR Alliance Team has submitted a recommendation on the New Monday Mission Suggestions page for a Lithium Battery Fire mission and four variations.
We've listened to the thoughts of others, put our own thoughts into it, and assembled this package. We hope everyone likes it. And we look forward to seeing these missions added to the game someday. -

not the way it works in real life. a call for that type of fire inside any building would prompt the structure fire response for that type of occupancy, business, strip mall, warehouse, residential, apartment building, etc.,
Working now on this with some guys in our Alliance (USFR), including firefighters. Sharing all input we have in here. We've come up with 5 tiers to this mission, I'm suggesting POIs for higher tiers, including Cargo Port, Laboratory, Mall, Storehouse and Warehouse. These fires could occur anywhere, so I wouldn't suggest POI for the most basic mission. However, for variations, any or some of the POIs listed should be required.

**New Monday Mission Suggestions** They have a page and format for this. I like the idea, Lithium batteries are a pain to deal with.
Thank you for suggesting addition to Monday Mission Suggestions. Looked at that page. But I am not a real-life firefighter and I would have no idea as to which units or how many should be deployed. Or how many credits the mission should be worth. Maybe if we generate enough interest in here we can come up with realistic numbers.

Suggestion for a new mission: Lithium Battery Fire.
This is a growing problem. We've seen video of these fires, most recently a fire in a London apartment when someone brought a scooter inside to recharge it. We've also seen laptop computers catch fire. Last week, I saw a news clip of how a local fire department is training to put out these fires.
Game already has the Hybrid Vehicle catches fire, but this would encompass more.
