On the 3rd it was 3 years of playing for me and with the exception of the occasional hospital visit I’d say I have logged in 85 to 90% of my time on the game.

I see what you guys are saying, I cannot say much right now but something is in the works to rectify this so all parties are satisfied.
May not come immediately but it is being worked on and I think you'll like it.
I've been listening this entire time. I have an idea that's been passed forward and it's a good one that'll work for everyone!
Thank you Jersey looking forward to it !!!!

I'm from SolCal retired now and thats how most (not all but most) of Cali is all Paramedic staffed Engines, Cal-Fire even have some Engines Paramedic staffed.
I knew Lafd had paramedic engines and Cal-Fire I’m betting there are plenty of others.

I definitely agree shifts would be nice for realism but probably a nightmare for the development team to set up.

I been on the forums about 2 years now and been seeing this topic pop up often.
Thank you

The EMS Engine Ambulance is used more than you guys realize. And this is a Realistic Unit as different departments utilize it in multiple states.
How it's used is up to that department. Even though it has a water tank it's mostly used for Transporting Patients.
Some have the Ambulance Cab in place of the Crew Cab while others have it at the rear of the Engine and only a Single "Two Man" Cab at the front.
Same goes for the Rescue Ambulance. It's a Heavy Rescue with Ambulance Transport Capabilities. It may not be entirely popular with most departments but it does get used a lot.
The post of it's release in the EMS Update was to bring Realistic Vehicles to the Game. This is a Realistic Unit.
It's only optional. Players do not have to use it if they don't like it.
To be a little blunt, There's no need to make a fuss about it if you guys don't like it. Just don't use it is all. It's only a Game and the Content Teams do their research first before forwarding ideas for implementation.
Sorry to say, This Unit won't be going anywhere 😉
Thank you,
JB
JB no disrespect intended I have been involved in Emergency Services and in ems in particular since 1998 I know they are used in some areas and are functioning well for those agencies. All we are simply asking is to either allow the option to turn off the portion that automatically makes it transport the patient or allow an option for the regular or rescue engine to treat someone to say 50% or treat class A and some B patients fully like a fly car does. Because non transport paramedic engines exist and I would bet outnumber actual engine ambulances 3 to 1 in any area. I can think of a half dozen major cities that run bls or even als staff on every single engine and routinely treat patients on scene. We don’t want the engine ambulances to go away we just want additional realistic options!!!!

Has there been anymore thoughts or progress with the developers on this? I know they just released a update and are planning another soon.

Lol, me too. It’s really annoying
I’m almost willing to pay someone to make some lol
-
I work in Montgomery County, but building out there is kinda far for the Philadelphia missions
I would expand into Montco but not a lot of graphic packages available for Montgomery County and I hate using vehicles without authentic graphics lol
-
I always see you around in alliance missions. I play in the Philadelphia and surrounding area
Yeah I have Philadelphia completely covered. Also most of Delaware County feel free to add me or email me
-
Or make it a Premium Only feature or something
I would be all for the premium features
-
It looks like they pulled the requirements, just got the mission for the kids in the sewer and no tech rescue or SAR required.
Still the same issue with other missions
-
Standard response around here for those calls is 3 engines and the average engine is 750 gallons most are 1000 gallons and we are a hydrated county in about 80% of the county.
-
I am having the same issue and often have to pay the job in coins
I am lucky enough I have a dedicated station with a collapse rig and Usar team but still annoying as heck.

couple of the departments near me place the EV cars that are on fire into a dumpster and use a loader to fill it with sand. they wait about 2 weeks later to remove the EV car out of the dumpster.
Friend of mine who does towing has a set up like that for storage of impounded Evs
-
My issue is if I add both to one vehicle with people trained in both the truck only functions as one or the other. It’s kind of annoying honestly and not realistic in my opinion hopefully they can fix that in the next update.
-
Ev fires definitely need a lot of water I actually think another engine should be added.
-
Great idea, using coins and buying the right to do it.
Absolutely
-
Thought I was the only one. I found like 15 Santa’s that way.

So then the solution is to change the EMS engine from an ALS Ambulance to an ALS Fly car, or create a new unit designation.
That would absolutely work or even easier make an extension for any engine or ladder so it’s more versatile. Whatever would be easiest but the extension under storage would help grow that aspect of the game
