good point
The way I treat things like this for hospitals, is you need one or two in a region, as not all hospitals have this capability. Makes role playing with a medical chopper more realistic.

I get about 28 missions per hour
What speed are you running them on? How many stations?
-
I would rather them add this than things like tow trucks.
-
took me about 6 hours to do while at work working. When we have those do 330 mission ones I just turn on my EMS stations and crack through them. Dispatch center for fire, one for ems, one for police. I turn the others off so its just one specific mission set coming through. Crank the generation speed as high as you can and go.

In my area of the US:
Rescue boat docks - dont exist, but are water ambulances
Fire boat dock - as it sounds. fire boats
Costal Rescue Stations (applies to the costal rescue school and costal air station) - US Coast Guard mainly. Mainly do lifesaving, ship inspection, and drug interdiction.
Lifeguard post - usually run by the city or counties it resides in.

what units do you have on scene?
-
Ive had the same issue. It seems to only count the 1st one from a mission.
-
Love the idea, they could also increase the amount needed in between the lower ranks and take some from the top end ranks to make it easier.

Not sure about the Comms Trucks, but I just buy an air truck and name it an ALR Truck or (Air/Light/Rehab) and spread them out in my set up and then when you send a Light Truck then you have all 3. Down this way a lot of places have that set up anyway. Remember....each additional vehicle you add to the mix is going to cost coins or credits.
I agree with you but for the sake of adding more depth to the game having the extra units would be nice for the large jobs. Who cares if it costs credits or coins? Nothing in this game is free lol.
-
Not to hijack this, but having straight communications trucks would be awesome along with rehab units for really large jobs.

Its running super slow for me.

Does he have a routine when he makes videos?
No they dont have a regular release schedule.
-
Yeah I found out about it from Ron Pratt on youtube. He runs a tow company out of Missouri and they run code sometimes.
Missouri Emergency Vehicle Light State Statutes - Extreme Tactical Dynamics

I think this addition is unnecessary and uncalled for. It is an emergency game and tow trucks do NOT respond emergency to tow a vehicle. Also, what does a towing lot have to do with emergencies? Yes....some large metro companies have their own rig but they are part of special operations and even when they are used they don't tow from scene. Adding these items and then "requiring" them to be able to finish a mission is an unfunded mandate. For those of us that have been playing for years and have large set ups, the cost to purchase these across our entire set up would be astronomical.
That is not true, in some US states tow trucks are authorized to run red and blues and can run code to get to an emergency.
-
I just realised, it could also be that they're organised checks for function in like a whole apartment block or something, so it'd make sense they're planned
In my area in the US the fire department usually just shows up some time during the quarter to do a check, usually when they can fit it in between calls. Ive had them show up at 12AM when they were returning from a call off from a call or at 2PM when they were bored at the station and the station officer kicked a crew out to do some thing.
-
Ive not seen the tactical rescue training be needed or helpful in anything. I would just stick with swat and send an ambo to the call as well. Hey from a fellow wisconnite!

Where do you stop when you get that customized though? There needs to eventually be a point where the details end.
Pierce has Quints that are "Ladders" 75 feet, 100 feet, 107 feet and Quints that are "Platforms" which are 100 feet, and 110 feet.Thats because they can market it differently and then charge you differently

I checked yesterday and it seems to be working just fine for me.
