The update that made K-9 units patrol cars was a long time ago. Then cane an update that made them unable to do prisoner transport.

What would probably be more useful is a small update to the ARR categories.
Options to select between a patrol car on it's own and one for a patrol car and k-9 unit.Similar changes to the rescue engine/fire truck/quint would be welcome with this as well.

I think having the rescue engine included within Alarm and Response is useful to be honest. Perhaps an option to switch in between rather than this?
Don't quite understand what you're saying?
If it's what I'm thinking; Switching in between could be rather awkward and it'll have to another layout of options whereas just adding the option for rescue engine to the ARR categories could be a lot easier to undertake.
