how does it work? it just adds three buttons to my taskbar?

Yes, it adds three buttons, a green one, a yellow one and a red one.

By clicking on them you can hide or show the missions.

Replaceded "// @include *://www.leitstellenspiel.de/" with "// @include *://www.missionchief.com/" ?
And reloaded the game?

The button's don't do anything aside from display a cross through them upon clicking.

Same happening here - clicking the buttons, nothing happening. Don't think any errors are present
