Standalone Bushfire stations

  • This is something I have seen that the US server wants, and it would be very good for AU to get, as like the US, a lot of rural fire stations get 0 or very few structure related incidents. However, there should be an extension to allow for the spawning of missions such as vehicle fires, etc, so that people can have pure bushfire response stations (eg National Parks or equivalent stations), as well as rural response stations (CFS, CFA, NSWRFS etc), which will still have fires such as car fires, tractor fires and harvester fires (very large percentage of fire response during harvest) plus the standard grass fires, small bushfire type incidents. These stations should have access to all the bushfire capable appliances (Heavy, Medium, Pumper, Light, and Ultra-light tankers), as well as Bulk Water Tankers and perhaps Support Vehicles

  • Specialisation is available on the AU version.

On a station which has the bushfire extension, click the the Bushfire Specialization to make it a bushfire station.

That is the same way to make a bushfire only station on the US version, there is no "Bushfire/Wildfire Standalone Station"

  • Specialisation is available on the AU version

I'd like to not have to do specialisation, as that takes a long time. Make it a individual building, base cost of the station + extension + specialisation, so that it doesn't make people want to use only it. Use the same cost adjustment algorithm so it doesn't get abused as a cheaper fire station, but maybe cap it out at 1,000,000 credits

  • The specialisation and the ability for small stations to have one extension and specialisation was the solution for having a station act as a standalone station.

At this point, they will not be bringing out something to make a relatively new improvement deemed obsolete.

While I understand, you're looking for a faster way to complete this, it would not be foreseeable for an implementation such as that.

    THank you,
