since a lot of house fires happen to involve liquefied natural gas why not have natural gas explosion as a call perhaps have it start as a residential gas leak as there is usually a leak before hand for which you would need the utility unit to shut off the gas and there should be 90% chance of it being upgraded to natural gas explosion perhaps have patients at the scene of the blast and the chance they need to be transported at 100% because if medical attention is not received the blast injuries could be fatal here's what a such a call looks likehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgWAenS9kzc
Natural Gas Explosion

90% chance is a bit pessimistic of explosion, I like the idea of a gas explosion although it sort of comes under residential fire which we already have.
-
like me181 says, 90% is quite unrealistic and would probably be better at 40 to 50%. what units do you think would be needed for such a call?
-
it should be at 40 to 50 and unit wise you would need 2 heavy rescue vehicles 1 mobile command vehicle 4 police cars and 4 or 5 ambulances depending on the number of victims
-
what about hazmat platform etc?
-
good idea
-
Hmmmm... I've been to countless natural gas leaks of which only one resulted in an explosion... even 40-50% is insanely high.
Realistically I'd figure less than a tenth of a percent off all natural gas leaks end with a bang, but when it does happen it's incredibly resource intensive.
-
great idea perhaps that could be a call in the game with your suggestion for realism
