Hey guys, it's me again I just have one more thing to add that I forgot in my last post I think that in the dispatch window when your about to send a unit to a call their should be a option to send the car Code 1, Code 2 or Code 3 for better response times
ANOTHER IDEA
-
-
Response times are generally down to the number of other calls around not the actual speed the vehicle drives
-
Response times are based on the severity of the call!
Speed is a factor,
GENERALLY,
Code 1 - No lights, No Sirens, Normal Traffic
Code 2 - No Siren, Use lights, use siren to get through heavy traffic if it decreases response time
Code 3- Use Lights All The Way To Scene, Use sirens All The Way To Scene, High Priority Call, Get There Fast -
We already have a slow response for events and fast, lighted response for other missions, don't really see the need for anything more unless you want to be sorting out missions slower by getting there later
-
Sorry, should have made that more clear. my last post was more about real life than in game. "Response times are generally down to the number of other calls around not the actual speed the vehicle drives" not sure if this is for in game but if it is, response times are the same for me no matter the number of calls.
-
Exactly they always are the same for me as well. So I think that we should have the codes so that on Missions like a metal burglary you can go code 2 or code 3 depending on the incident description it would just add to the realism in an alliance when your playing with other people
-
AND THE HELICOPTER GOES THE SAME SPEED AS THE GROUND UNITS. FIX THAT TOO!!
-
The three helis that I use definitely don't run at the same speed as my ground units
-
Do yours go twice as fast as the ground units? I will admit they are slightly faster but not much and direct line-of-site is nice but they should be scaled for the 120 that they do (rounded off)
-
I haven't done any maths behind it, but my instinct, which is generally ok, tells me it's going around 1.5-2X the speed of ground units. That's not too far off what I believe is sort of realistic. It's not exactly crawling over the terrain.
