While I see where you're going with this...I would presume you already have EMS coverage in the vicinity anyway...therefore it's a matter of not dispatching the units at that station? You can exclude those units from AAR to prevent auto-dispatching...
Please give up the ability to build stations but have the option to opt out of receiving calls around them. I had the idea to build an ambulance station exclusively for long-distance transfers but the problem is I would still receive calls around it therefore I would have to leave some units stationed there at all times.
Please let me know your thoughts!
It's more of an issue with the dispatching side of things. I'd still like to get calls around my specialist centers however I'll clearly define vehicles which are not meant for the usual cat up a tree incident to be dispatched instead.
