Place old topics in an archive and locked from replies

This would benefit forums. Can it be possible to have a topic automatically locked from anymore replies after a month of it being made? This would keep unnecessary bumping from new threads being found. Or have them hidden in a seperate archive of it's own while new and recent threads are in another categorized area like they are now.

Basically I'm asking if old topics a month older can be separated?

There should be a rule made where any player that see's old topic from a while ago and they want discuss it they should make a new topic regarding it instead of bumping an old one.
