Max Number of Stations

I recently found out that the maximum number of fire stations you can build is 5000, and 1700 for police stations. Why is this? Will it be changed in the future?

My goal in the game is to build all of Connecticut and Rhode Island realistically, and eventually Massachusetts. I’m sure I’ll reach this limit eventually. I hope it will be changed by the time I reach that number.

Well actually it has been changed a few months ago. The number of fire stations was much much lower than what it was a year ago for limits. I don't remember what they all were but I was so happy when the limit for at least the fire was raised to 5000 as that'll allow me to do maybe 2 states or 3 states.

I do remember that the previous number might not have allowed me to even get one state done

I believe the former # was 2200. Then it was bumped to 5000. I was very happy at that point
