no who honestly looks at calls name I just send the units and move on.
My suggestion is that they could add a small blurb of the situation from dispatch for added realism. Example below.
"Small fire at (Said Address), caller states smoke coming from said building.
Its only an example, I am not in emergency services so don't really know how it would say.
totally unnecessary
Having sent 20 years as a Fire Officer, Information given on the way was often inaccurate and I always did my own scene size up on arrival. The only thing that was useful was for a structure fire that they were receiving multiple calls, as then I knew it was a working job and then I could upgrade on route and get more trucks on the road. But smoke showing from a window can be a fumigation or a shower, or water blaster.
