2 Airports No calls yet since update dropped
Posts by Gooochy
I have started adding in variations of medical missions to match IRL emergency calls and their respective codes.
Doing this provides the community with a large range of missions and will help even more so with further updates that are to come.
I could just leave them as generic but then we'd soon run out of missions that only require ambulance units and I'm sure that would be wrong.
If anyone has suggestions for medical missions they'd like to see in the game, please feel free to DM them to me together with the patient code and response.
Sorry for the late responsw but perhaps changing the generic one we had for a long time to perhaps "epileptic seizure" or somthing because having 3 specific ones and 1 generic one feels kind of oof
These are medical equipment trailer is an airport only unit, available with the Airfield Operations expansion. The cycle responder is not meant for HART bases - only ambulance stations.
Ah sorry I just assumed it was part of the mass cass expansion, no worries thanks
The new units are missing. The medical mass cas unit shocked me as I have the appropriate extention but cant use it
We have had a mental health call added to the UK game then swiftly removed. I dont understand why the devs did this as the US game has this call and has done for years so why is it a issue on the uk game? Link to mission: https://police.missionchief.com/einsaetze/248
I think this is actually a problem just not as described, missions that are generated by other missions, e.g. "phonebox on fire (caused by bin fire)" and missions such as smoke inhalation do not spawn close to the mission but instead on top of the station that generated it? issue has reocurred for me a lot, as seen with the mission attached this mission was caused by the other mission at the bottom left yet spawned directly on the station that originally spawned it as described.. this has been happening with all my 'caused by' missions for the past week or two and I think this is more what Goochy was getting at with the smoke inhalation issue.
in some cases for me its spawned even further away causing delays on units
Generally Medical Only calls shouldn't have a payout (as the payout is for the treatment and transport only).
However, I will look into it.
I think the reason is when the mission was orginally encoded it had a fire pumper requirement & station requirement. Devs removed fire truck requirement (before launch) and still has a fire station requirment today. As seen here: Mission Monday Vehicle and Mission Changes - Errors, Bugs - Mission Chief Board
After months of playing I just noticed this, but the average payout for the cardiac arrest call is 10 credits. I get that we do make money from the transport to the hospital but it is just such a low payout. I was curious if it might be a typo and missing a 0?
Your pretty lucky to even get any payout. On US & UK the same call has no payout
Well, you see, it says it requires the Lifeguard training. If there is two different lifeguard trainings with the same name, that should probably be changed.
I think the fire one needs to be changed to "water rescue"
Is there a reason why these are queued to respond separately? My understanding of the game is that these units serve the same purpose... how are they different?
If you use "coastal boat" all 3 types will respond
in sar part 2 is it planned to allow more units to tow fire boat trailer. As just the 4x4 is a bit limiting. Could the RSU & L4P be allowed too tow it ?
All the bugs below have been submitted over the devs. Was supposed to be submitted yesterday but I’ve been busy
The FAQ mentioned that the fire boat trailer is available at fire stations with the water rescue expansion. This should be changed to it’s correct name of technical rescue expansion.
When the lifeboat returns to the station to drop off a patient for an ambulance (haven’t tried with the helicopter yet) it generates a new patient hand over mission. Players are reporting that this mission doesn’t show up on the map
Players would like the time to completing missions missions halved as they are taking quite a long time.
The mission evacuation for cruis liner major has too few casualties for the max. It should have been a lot more than 16
The coastguard helicopter is only transporting 1 casualty at a time
Only one coastguard helicopter is purchasable in game rather than a small and a large
Flare call requires critical care but doesn’t let you send critical care
The maximum crew of the hovercraft transporter needs to be changed to 3
Players would like the graphics for the trailer units to work the same way as prime movers
On the map filter. Lifeboat station hides or shows both lifeboat and coastguard stations. There should be two options for each type of station
Players would like to see the smallest spawn area size reduced down to a 1km radius, and also have the ability to generate multiple spawn areas for each building
Players would like to see ALB’s count as ILB’s on all missions
Home response locations don’t show up in lifeboat collage
Rescue boat assist coast guard mud rescue mission should require 2 mud rescue units and 1 decontamination trailer, currently it’s the other way around.
When sending lifeboats and helicopters away from a mission with patients, players have to re assign these units to the mission to complete the mission even if there are no longer patients there. Can this be changes so either these units get automatically reassigned to the mission, or they are no longer needed at the mission.
Lifeboat flood rescue trailer should need the lifeboat 4x4 to tow it, currently it doesn’t need a tow vehicle
I feel that this is a very accurate demonstration of the bugs/changes needed
We still have non-specialised CRV here, seems to be most rope rescue CG bases (in my region at least) will have one general and one rope rescue vehicle
Litreally today saw a CRV - no indicators of rope/mud rescue so think it is normal one
OTL is not a course, you're referring to tactical command course which is required for the Ambulance Control Unit (ACU).
Education for Doctors and Advanced Paramedics as well as other resources are in my plans for future ambulance content of which I have now started to work on.
Education for the 2 roles will also require new units and missions to go with in order to make the most of it.
I would love to see doctors (with a toggle similar to critical care) I would defo make good use with it/
Very odd as it is working for me.
this makes alot of sense as they added it for UK too.
Now that you mention it I think it was added specifically for the coastal stations. Unfortunately I can't find the post on it.
It was in the dev log on their facebook (both US & UK) - specifically for coastal stations, so I believe its a bug fire stations have it.
Jetski: (no lights - by design) - I get that its smaller but its the only way that it makes sense as your obviously not gonna have a single jetski on a trailer the same size as a police car.
Jetski Big for those who want to go big:
