The idea of CSI and forensics has been brought up before, but we've struggled with how it would be implemented. I don't think it would fit as a mission of the type that we have now.
Also, do you really want a SWAT team for a murder investigation?

the other thing is forensic teams are also used for things like robber breakand enter ect so evidence can be used for finding and charging suspects

Only if a firearm threat was believed to exist still at the scene. More often than not the offenders have fled and an unarmed response is proportionate. Although it's stepping away from the OP's original question.
MissionChief is an emergency response game. Forensics are not an emergency response. Yes, they would get called out to incidents but often slow time. The game primarily deals with the initial response and it's what keeps it fast paced and fun.
