Does anyone have ACTUAL information on the specific purposes of the different forestry vehicles?
Seems like everything ive found is purely role playing or purely fiction differences.

Please explain what you mean. All units used in game are used in real life.
For example, A Type 3 engine is a combination unit of a regular pumper and brush truck making it a brush engine.
Type 4 through 7 are different types of brush trucks pending on it's size, size of water tank and how many personnel can be staffed in them. However the Type 3 is the only brush truck that is considered an Engine.
The Pumper Tanker is not considered a brush truck but is not only used in Suburban environments, but also in Forestry environments as well. It is a Fire Engine and Tanker combination unit.
The Crew Carrier is a unit specifically designed to transport extra Manpower from its fire station to the scene to provide pretty much, Extra Manpower.
Hope this helps,

I meant any explanation I've found is peoples opinion of what they were meant for.
and I've just joined a new alliance that forced me to delete all my stations and start over in a separate area so I haven't built any forestry stations yet so I was unaware of what the different units were.
Your information was more then useful though thank you.

Ahh okay. Anytime! Happy to help!
In the future I would recommend not deleting your stations for others. Wastes all the hard work, time, credits and coins spent on them. Not all alliances will make you do that. At the very least I would relocate them as the first move is Free. Hope this helps.
Personally from a players perspective I wouldn't move my stations.

I was considering restructuring my stations anyway, plus the alliance had a much further developed player covering the same area and gaps in coverage so I didn't mind that.
However now the alliance seems pretty inactive so That I should have looked out for but oh well.
I'll Probably just create another one once I'm established.
Thanks for the information either way man.
No problem! I'm always around!

Bullshit-> "that forced me to delete all my stations"-that´s ur Money. Change this Alliance and take one who accept you + your stations the way you are. There are enough who would be happy to accept you
I Mean I Didn't Have to join that alliance obviously, it was just a geographical thing i guess.
Not Many alliances are in the Tennessee region let alone specifically east Tennessee and having active members, which this one does intermittently.
My point i guess is im not upset by the restart, its the third time ive done so and everytime by choice so it is what it is.
Shouldn't have to do that though. If you're still looking for an active alliance, Midwest Fire & Police are seeking members. You can tell them I told you about them.

Does this mean that a Type 3 can handle calls that a regular fire engine can? Or does it only handle forestry calls?

Correct, Type 3 Engines can handle calls of a regular fire engine. It is a combination unit of a Type 1 and Brush Truck.

Alright, thanks! I was just making sure.

Anytime! I'm always around if you have any questions.
what about type 5 or 7
what about type 5 or 7
Types 5 & 7 both act the same way as brush trucks. The only difference is crew count and pricing.
but they work as engines also. i had a few calls with them on it and still calling for an engine maybe they look at crew size now also?
The Type 3 is the only Brush Truck that also serves as an Engine. It is a combination unit of Brush Truck and Fire Engine.
thanks that helps alot
Anytime!
