No, the sheriff was a HUGE mistake. I do NOT want to go through that again with another police devision. Just name them for what they are. “CHP unit#” or state patrol don’t make another vehicle for it.
Agreed with WinWIn. The implementation of the sheriffs was horrible.
That's unfortunately a bit true, However what do you guys like to see change with the sheriff units?
I don’t really see a purpose to it for the game. It makes realistic players with only city police buy sheriff units. Now it’s implemented I think we can A. learn from it and B. I would like to see it not as a requirement for a set amount of stations. That way only players who have the unit get calls for the unit.
I wouldnt mind State patrol and get rid of Federal Police.
State Patrol could be required for any of the vehicle crash Missions, the Pursuit, Driving complaint, and Drunk Driver. also for the timed mission the ALPR checkpoint.
State Patrol units do have K9's, Swat, Crash Investigation, Mobile command, Chopper in my state atleast.
I just told play some of my vehicles as state police. I have a troop in each county, and several cars that patrol the highway. I also use them as backup for town patrol cars.
I think state police are a good idea. Beats trying to justify 8 federal police buildings.
State Police can do more then anyother * Local Law Enforcement * Meaning like Town Police or just a different agency to serve for, Where am from like upstate NY, State Police / And Local Sheriffs / City PD all have K-9 , Their own SWAT team, Bearcat etc, Their own investigations team etc, and other main divisons serving that one county or several countys and town at once.
