GIF's an acceptable image in graphics packs!

Use APNGS (Animated PNG images) these work much better, use a program such as RW paint or an online tool, to make it, GIFs don't work to well, forgotten the reasoning, something to do with colour limitations.

I've asked Sebastian to look into having a way for the images to not alternate when responding (between the normal and lights on version). Of course while that works to show a unit responding between two static images it just makes the animated ones look like the vehicle doesn't know if it wants it's lights on or not!

I had about 120 vehicles on the move yesterday which are APNG and didn't come across any issues. Naturally, being animated, they will use more system resources so if your computer isn't able to keep up with it then you may not be able to use APNG.

Likewise it's down to your computer, lots of gifs however would not work any better.

Can someone please explain how to make these animated APNG graphics? Is there a dummy down step by step instructions that can be given? I would like to try a few on my own but would need easy instructions.

Use an online tool (just Google Apng maker) or go for RW Paint. I got used to it by playing around with multiple programs, you will have to find a way that suits you case they're all different. I haven't got much time ATM but if there's something that you seriously can't get your head around, ask away.

@hawker5 check out Krys' Graphic Tutorial on the General page. Should be pinned. It's not Animatef, but it still works.

PiGuy6248 - I have someone gotten the hang of Kry's graphics. Currently is what I am using now, but like the animated lights even better. Always looking for ways to make it more realistic. I will go back to Krys instructions and see what I can play around with Thanks.

Hello everyone. I have a problem. I have created this animated image, with lights flashing, however when I go to add it to my station, it either shows a white background with no lights flashing or just the vehicle with no lights.

I dont recall how I made this, just kept at it and got this and now I don't remember how i did it haha

Can someone look at this image and let me know how I can edit it to make it switch between emerg and non emerg effectively?

Apparently that image i Posted is in Gif Image format. How do I change it to PNG format with lights flashing?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it and it gave me the image in PNG without the lights flashing. Its set as if the truck responding routine both on call and back to station. Any ideas why the lights won't flash?

Have you got the latest browser? APNG is a relatively new thing

It seems to be working now. I made a gif and changed it to a PNG and it seems to be working. I wish it was constant and not the delay of a sec or two when responding.

I'm using Google Chrome for this game.

Not a problem then, the constant thing has been brought up
