I can't confirm but I think it is 3
Because both Heavy Rescue and Utility Unit have a maximum crew of 3

The new Heavy Rescue with boat allows up to 5 members. And how do I get missions for water rescue? I even added POI's earlier today.

I do believe if you add the POI's lake or river it should work, i have not tryed it yet due to not having enough time to.

i have added staff to the boat. would that help with numbers if you use a utility unit.

So we can use a utility truck to haul a boat? Does the boat come with a trailer to haul with the utility? Was just discussing this in my alliance. I have one station that has a boat and utility truck and the boat is hauled by the utility truck. I wasn't going to expand to the watercraft expansion if I can't use utility and boat together like in real life. So please help so I understand.

You must have trained personnel and the water rescue expansion. In your case, you would just buy a utility and a boat. The “trailer” comes with the boat. You have to use them together to respond to calls unless you buy the other water rescue unit.

Be aware that at the moment the utility can only take a max of 3 staff, the calls need 4 trained staff, and also staff cant travel in the boat either.

I think I know where I went wrong then. I have 3 in my boat with 3 in the utility. Didn't know we couldn't do this.

Understood. Hopefully they will change and allow four personnel on the utility soon.

now i have one more question... if I get boat and utility together, can utility be used for calls without boat as well?
