Swat SUVs as patrol cars

It’s nothing to do with it being on the list at all. I explained this about a week ago. The reason they don’t count as patrol cars is simply because I messed up when getting them added and forgot to make sure Sebastian made them count as a patrol car. Instead Sebastian took it as make them patrol.

I actually asked Sebastian if this could be sorted a few days ago along with getting the Domestic call sorted (now spawns at Police stations) but he didn’t respond to it and only to the domestic dispute.

SWAT SUV’s patrolling. They should already be able to.

In regards to acting as patrol cars. Negative. I did bring it up again but he didn’t respond.

Just to put my two cents in on this one, I think that SWAT SUVs and patrol cars should be kept separate in regards to its ability to handle incidents. In keeping with the tone of realism, I doubt a dispatch center would sent a SWAT vehicle to handle a Parked Car Accident.

This is totally dependant on the area you operate in. Although I'd note, SWAT officers can become involved with incidents which may not require their specialised skills. This update would mean they are not completely useless on a scene. They may not be dispatched, but that doesn't stop them from resolving a situation like any other patrol car.

I play in the UK, so my use for them would be ARV (Armed response vehicle) These patrol and handle accidents like normal police cars.

Another question that touches the above subject, since the requirement for SWAT changed from Vehicles to educated personnel, is there a reason that Swat trained officers in Patrol Cars are not counted towards the amount of needed SWAT officers?

In my example i have 4units at heathrow police station, two patrol cars and two times swat SUV. all personnel is educated so 2x2 for patrol cars and 2x4 for the SUV's. These 4 vehicles are not able to clear a mission that requires 12SWAT officers. Mission #104
I've sent 2 normal police cars, two SWAT trained police cars from heathrow and the 2 SWAT suv's, still i can't clear the mission..

The reason why is because in order to add multiple types of SWAT vehicle, the SWAT requirements needed to be changed to require SWAT trained officers rather than specifically requesting an SUV. SWAT Trained officers however must be in some type of SWAT vehicle in order to count as SWAT. If they are in anything else they will just count as police. This is because regular police vehicles don’t carry SWAT equipment and SWAT vehicles rarely transport prisoners if at all.

It should. It was supposed to. For some reason the Dev hasn’t ever got around to adding it when I have asked.
