We need a police van! It can handle like 4 officers and 2 prisoners.
It would be quite realistic if these vans had to go to the scene and pick the prisoner up there, not get the patrol car to take the p

Yeah, could do some riots.

Do you have your numbers switched around? I think it would work better with two officers and 1-9 detained persons. Basing it off of a panel van would be my suggestion

I would have thought 2 prisoners in cages and the rest seats for officer transport would be more realistic.
Sure the prisons have transport vans/buses with more space for prisoners but wouldn't think they would attend police incidents?

Our state patrol uses them for protests (http://www.desmoinesregister.c…protest-arrests/89607366/), at the state fair, anywhere they would be expecting an above average amount of arrests. A police SUV would better suit transporting more than two officers.
here in australia we have paddy wagons normal have two coppers(or three if there is a new guy) and it normally only carrys 1 at a time but ive seen it carry 4 before
Nah, We should have 4-6 Officers that would be better.
If this was implemented I think 2 officers and the ability to transport 1-4 people would be more realistic, but in game there are not many call that require more then one transport per call for PD. So if this was added it would be nice to see some calls like riots or things like that require more people to be transported like 1-4 to make a unit like that worth it.

widehaslet does not have his numbers switched round. if you had 9 prisoners in a van then it must get pretty cramped. im guessing this is the US standard but here in the UK we only have vans transporting 2 at most on the left is a US prison van. but on the right is a UK prison van. they are more or less the same size. unless the US van happens to be bigger on the inside then i cant seem to grasp how on earth 9 people are going to get in there.
I say it should be able to carry up to 4 officers and 4 prisoners
Here in Aus we have paddy wagons that are Toyota hilux with a special pod on the back that can squeeze up to 6 suspects but normally leave it at 2 maybe 3 make

Yes when I posted that I was thinking standard seating (3 rows, 3 seats in each row). Realistically, they would seat closer to 6.

9, however, isn't unheard of, this van was transporting eleven (three of which were taken to a hospital beforehand): http://www.nbcnews.com/news/ot…r-leaves-keys-f8C11259912
And this van can transport up to 12: http://www.qualityvans.com/mcso-prisoner-transport-van/
Otherwise perhaps maybe a transport bus holding 20-30 might end this debate instead lol.
