Extra hospital beds

  • I have said about reducing the price of hospital beds from 190K for 10 to 100K for ten but this is not what I am posting about, I have found out that you can only expand to a maximum of 30 beds (level 20) this needs to be raised as I need to expand my hospital beds due to them becoming full very quickly

  • This is something we'll add to the list. But I'm curious how you're filling them up so fast? It takes me 5 or so hours of near constant play to fill up two hospitals.

I have 51 ambulance stations and I get a lot of casualties plus I share my area with my friend but I run all the hospitals so it's getting used by him aswel

  • With the alliance I am in we have a mass of people based in the Philly/Camden area and I have lost count with how many hospitals are over there. We have most of them maxed out with thirty beds. A few of them get filled up constantly but the thing is successful for us with hospitals is we have a solid network of them. Instead of just sending all of your patients to just your hospital try spreading em out. Take the opportunity to send a few out to some farther hospitals that don't get patients very often. It's a lot like actual prehospital set ups. As a mass-casualty transport officer I had to determine which hospitals would get which patients. A big thing was I couldn't over load one hospital with all the patients due to the fact that they still had to operate with their own patients. Another thing is if you have 50+ fire and EMS stations I'm sure you can afford to purchase another hospital or two.

I have quite a few hospitals and I do try to spread them out but unfortunately my friend who shares the hospital sends them just to the nearest and doesn't spread them out, it's also the only hospital in about a 50+ miles

  • I'll bring up another thread about patient transports and transfers from hospital to hospital it is extremely common at my local hospital the ambulance helicopter does transfers every second day. Normally if you get listed as critical in my town you get flown to Sydney which is a three hour drive away or Wollongong a 1-1.5 hour drive for more specialist and advanced services not to mention the multiple intakes from the other hospitals further south from my town
Allowing transfers would allow you to finish a backup of calls then you and your alliance members could transfer to larger empty hospitals close by or hours away a tax would still apply

The fire department I work for (ALS certified) has a contract with our local hospital that if they fill their ED beds or they have a severe condition patient, they would call us to transport them to a different or more qualified hospital. It's also a common thing for private ambulance companies in the united states to do. It would definitely be something awesome to add into the game for those with one a hand full of stations and maybe one or two stations but I feel for players high up the leaderboards it would get a little to crazy to keep straight.
