Alliance Recruitment <----There, try not to spam it as hard as the previous post has done
-
can we just get them banned?
No. That's too harsh.
-
can we just get them banned?
Because its not against the rules

This is on the rise again and should really have been sorted out by now by the game limiting what people out with an alliance can see.
As for claims its something all alliances have done, it isn't.
Poaching/messaging members of an alliance to transfer to others is not that great a move.
There are several ways to advertise alliances without the need to spam players inboxes. Keep to those ways let players decide if they want to look into moving.
I understand this however in the real world companies up and down the world will poach other companies staff although they call it headhunting so really this is no different to companies approaching people on LinkedIn.
I’d argue that going to the effort of headhunting staff takes more effort.

Yes but when it becomes targeted on another alliance and trying to make that alliance out as it doesn't care about its members and the only way people can progress in the game is by switching alliances is unacceptable.
Head hunting on the game is in all honesty a bit desperate really people will generally choose an alliance of their own accord and stick with them especially if that alliance provides them with what they need. Offering staff positions as an incentive is never good as can do more damage than good too.

I agree that offering up staff roles or admin rights is a deadly desperate bribe but I’ve never done that, I simply but my aims in a message and ask someone if they want to be part of the challenge to help me achieve that goal.
If people decide they do want that goal and challenge then Obviously their alliance that they are in isn’t fulfilling all of their needs. To simple say if people don’t go looking for a move they should stay where they are is a bit dictatorship.
All I’m doing is making people aware that their are options out there.
Also at no point has my messages been written in a way that I’m making out their current alliance doesn’t care about them or want them their is also wrong.
Clearly other alliances who are headhunting are making this out but I am not, so please refrain from citing this as a reason for skating my headhunting attempts.
If alliances want to headhunt then they should be free to do without any criticism or I’ll feelings, ultimately it’s just a game.

I beg to differ that as you offered someone in my alliance Co-Admin to move over to you
-
And the name of this person I offered that role to is?? I’ll paste the email up if you give me the name to show you in what context
-
Also the fact you replied by asking what benefits you would get by joining my alliance says it all really??

I think enough is enough now with the bickering. To clarify, messaging people to join your alliance is not against the game's terms of service though it is frowned upon so if you are going to do it, do it at your own risk. You can continue this discussion between yourselves in PM.
