Sometimes our tons of missions lag the screen and computer. Simply being able to toggle map on and off in your settings will greatly reduce the lag people feel and will in turn be a help to the servers. It just makes perfect sense to not force people to load maps.

Sometimes our tons of missions lag the screen and computer. Simply being able to toggle map on and off in your settings will greatly reduce the lag people feel and will in turn be a help to the servers. It just makes perfect sense to not force people to load maps.
Your do have the ability to deselect multiple items to prevent them from showing up on the map to include "my missions". Just hover the cursor over the upper right hand of the map.
Oh and option to turn off our radio. I've got thousands of units and have to refresh every once in a while to reduce lag.

Actually the option on the radio is to turn off/on alliance units radio messages, not a players - i dont think currently there is an option for the player's radio

A no map option would be nice, I don't have any interest in the map, and work purely from the mission list so increased performance would be very useful.

On computer you have a button on the left side of the map
Click on that button and it moves the map into its own webpage you can close that webpage and continue to play the game to restore the map at the top of the screen click the button that says restore map
I often use it to move the game map to a second screen for my son to watch the trucks responding to the missions
