They would never complete the patients would get fully treated and then just sit no transport request for them

There could be cases where someone at the incident left the main area only to get down the street to then deteriorate from the effects.

I think this is actually a problem just not as described, missions that are generated by other missions, e.g. "phonebox on fire (caused by bin fire)" and missions such as smoke inhalation do not spawn close to the mission but instead on top of the station that generated it? issue has reocurred for me a lot, as seen with the mission attached this mission was caused by the other mission at the bottom left yet spawned directly on the station that originally spawned it as described.. this has been happening with all my 'caused by' missions for the past week or two and I think this is more what Goochy was getting at with the smoke inhalation issue.

in some cases for me its spawned even further away causing delays on units

For me they're just always spawning directly on the station that spawned it which is really odd, in my city if I get a major generated I'll get like 7 smoke inhalation calls spawning directly on the station that generated it everytime

It's been about 9 months since this bug was reported and still nothing seems to be done about it. Whenever there is a follow-up mission it spawns around the station that generated it as opposed to around the mission that generated it.
For example, a burning motorbike mission generates the follow-up burning leaves mission, instead of that generating on the mission, as previously established it generates on the station that generated the call. This also happens with smoke inhalation and basically any sort of mission generated by another mission. -
