Is it possible to have a chief finish a CO Alarm call implemented in the future. Or to have a chief required, then have a possibility of an engine as if there is CO present and required for ventilation.

The question wasn't whether it was in existence, it was whether a Chief could complete it in the same way that a Rescue can complete a tree down call.

That's right, I read through the thread too quickly. Shame.
All the departments I'm familiar with send at least one engine to a CO Alarm, and typically don't send a chief. Is that different from other's experience?

In STL County it varies not type lf structure, occupants, whether anyone is feeling ilol, etc. but still, I think MC17 is asking whether we can allow a Chief to complete a call BY ITSELF in addition to the engine. Just like a rescue or utility can complete a tree down call.

yeah. I was thinking have it require a chief to complete (in place of engine) and have the possibility of it requiring an engine when chief arrives on scene (upgraded call)

Or a truck for that matter as well, like any vehicle with a airpack could complete that call...
