Speed of Vehicles

for now it is zoom in
-
Increased speed I love to See them go faster on Highway and goes about 10-25 Miles in a town
-
sorry rescuemen but that is the way it si even in leitstellenspiel if you zoom in they go faster zoom out they slow down some
-
Not really On the highway they go faster almost the highway speed limited
-
I do Hope the Owner increase the Speed of the Vehicles Because when you got to many trucks going to Event You can't Zoom in on all the trucks at once So i really Hope that he increase Vehicles in the game its will help a lots of players @ Battchief7905 It Really up to Other Players If we get Few Vote the owner Might Do it anyway Because the truck goes to Slow when you got to many truck
-
actually it is in the coding of the program but you certainly welcome to express your desire to him directly by mail, either fb page missionchief or leitstellenspiel.de and as far as voting for something i am all for it just make sure it is something that is used in both Germany and the USA

Was raised about a year ago.. but I'll suggest it again.
Can vehicles move a bit quicker if they're on an emergency? They seem to never drive any quicker than the speed limit, even on large roads like motorways (or highways to those across the pond). I've roughly measured the time it took to travel between two motorway junctions and it worked out at 68mph. The motorway speed limit is 70mph and a police vehicle could well be entitled and capable of driving twice that at 140mph.
I'm aware there is a difference in speed when zooming in but the logic of this doesn't make sense either.

Ain't no cop car gonna drive 140 on an emergency bud. That's insane. Also, you've got a little too much time on your hands to measure how fast units are traveling on a computer game... Hey moderators and developers, I think it's fine how it is!

Not mad at all. That is the maximum permitted speed an Advanced driver can drive in Kent Police, the force I work for. I've been in a vehicle when it's hit such speeds. You can see a video from a police car hitting 140+ here, from about 1 minute 2 seconds.

I'm not saying the cars need to start going 140mph as it's not often they do get that speed due and I am aware this is a game. However if the pace can be increased a little bit that would be appreciated. I had an appliance going back to the fire station and a police car going to a call and they never really separated from each other.

I feel the same way. They've done good with varying the speed of vehicles depending on the road type but with emergency calls they do move too slow. It took one of my vehicles 6 minutes to reach something it would have done in 3.
-
I think instead of just completely increasing all vehicles speeds, maybe we could upgrade vehicles or just have more types of engines that change their information like speed and crew-space.

Nah. That makes this game too difficult. Good thought though

Hello all,
I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but is it possible to add kilometers and miles to each vehicle we use to help track vehicle usage and enable us to buy newer vehicles based on condition etc?
Will breakdowns and fuel consumption also be a possibility in the near future? This can help make the game more realistic.
Thoughts?

Love the idea and I most certainly will bring this up

The kilometers/miles are available, just click on your unit. It's on that page.

I understand that MissionChief is a game that focuses mainly on the fire and rescue side of emergency operations. The units available for fire services are plentiful and exciting to use. However, I feel that this should be continued with police and medical services. I know this would take time to do, and it may already be under development. Bringing new units to other services really opens the game up, and people will no longer feel restricted by a limited choice of ambulances or patrol cars.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope I hear back soon!

As said, already available.
Click the vehicle then 'Statistics' top right.

Personally I feel this would just frustrate players (fuel and vehicle condition) as their play time is being taken up with having to micromanage. I play with my mission speed on fast - meaning there is little time to 'rest' units and this sort of feature really wouldn't help.
