• suggestion: add TSG/riot squad trainings and vans for them

So, in America, pretty much everything specialist goes via the SWAT teams, there will be the odd few exceptions as usual however the requirement for specialist riot squads isn't there on most cases.
SWAT is already in game so maybe the further involvement of SWAT in public disorders may be in order.

That said, I do rather think that the game would benefit from the implementation of said riot squads. It would open up a whole new set of missions and potentially new alliance events. Their purpose in most other countries is remarkably different to that of the generic SWAT teams.

Laying out the additions in full:

    New training course:
    Public order training
    3 days

    Police Riot van
    5,000 credits
10 spaces for Public order trained officers

Addition of public order officers as a requirement to missions such as medium violent protest and such.

  • However a large base is European / British based - having 'public order' or 'operational support' - aka riot and method of entry officers - would be beneficial.
It would mean that there could be new missions:

    - Large Violent Demonstration
    - Suspected Barricaded (would also need SWAT/ARVs)
    - House Raid
They could be also needed on big calls that need police cordons, and as a replacement for patrol vehicles on drug warrants and demonstrations.

I also completely support @me181s ideas about pricing and specifics

  • So a way I see that it could be done to work for all is to have riot control training that can be applied to any officer so you can train existing SWAT officers in this. We then anyway plan to add personnel carriers to all 3 services and then have the missions require x number of riot trained officers at it.

  • If 'personnel carriers' are to added, for the police ones, there needs to be a drop down menu for how many people can travel in it, ranging from 2 to anything like 9.

Also, their must also be a feature for prisoners inside it, again with a drop down menu with 1 or 2.

We can't just dismiss this idea 'because they don't exist in America', as we know a large player base is from other parts of the world.

Prisoner transport vans may be a separate vehicle all together but yes they will have a max of about 9 people. As I have said in the past i personally do try to keep everything balanced so it works for all players no matter where they are from.
