I have recently noticed that the speed of apparatus is the same whether or not they are responding to an emergency. They should not be the same. Also, you should have a selector to send units Code 1, 2, or 3. With Code 1 being no lights no siren and standard traffic speed. Code 2 being Lights, no siren and a little faster then Code 1 because some cars would move over in real life. Then for Code 3 you would be driving with lights sirens and everything, so all cars should move over thus the apparatus would be going the fastest but have different calls require a different response then other calls. For example you would want a Police Car going code 1 or code 2 to a normal every day call but would want that same unit going faster and code 3 to an officer down or shooting. Or a Fire apparatus going code 1 to a co2 alarm act but going code 3 to a building collapse. Thus the response times would be different. I would love to see this added to the game and hope to see this in the near future.

Unfortunately with how the game mechanics work (using the maps) the speed is hard-coded and cannot be altered. The units (icons) will travel at the speed set on the map for the given road.

You do have an option on OpenStreetMaps to suggest an edit to the speed limit for a given road if it seems slower than it should be. I did this for a “back road” because the game thought my Station was on 5ta back road instead of the main highway.

Is this on Google and how exactly do you do this?

if you search open street maps. Make an account and you will see a similar looking map to the one that is on the game. Click edit and then you can edit the map.

I made an account and spent nearly 15 mins trying to figure out how to edit it. The tool icons aren't helping me much. Could you or someone post a screenshot showing how exactly to do this? Thanks.

I hope this works from my phone. Screen is a little smaller. But thanks I'll look into it.
