Currently the Ambulance Welfare Vehicle can only be purchased at HART bases, however I was wondering if this specific vehicle is only ever HART-operated? If that is not the case, I would very much like the ability to purchase it at regular ambulance stations, even if the cost is to build a welfare-vehicle expansion and train staff at the station on top of purchasing the vehicle.

I may be wrong here so one for you Ambo fill out there but I believe only HART have welfare units. You have some other things for example the new East of England Ambulance service LOM vans have welfare facilities in the back but it’s not a full welfare vehicle (just a kettle, table etc).
Welfare units for fire is something planned and has been planned for as long as the HART one. It’s not as simple as a stand-alone update for one though as several fire services don’t have a dedicated welfare unit. We have a solution for this though so stay tuned.

There are welfare cars out there aimed for hospitals (I've made a thread about this) and are used daily at the moment.
The welfare vehicles (HART) however in my experience are rare.. it may be different for other areas but I am yet to see them used.
I do know of these vehicles and others such as SORT and Mass Casualty units being stored at regular Ambulance stations to provide good cover.
I would like to see welfare vehicles added to the purchase list for regular Ambulance stations like the control unit and SORT vehicles are, more so to assist players who place HART bases realistically with meeting demand for the resource in game.

IRL, the Welfare trucks are are part of the national HART set up, each base has one. Currently they're the Merc Sprinter 4x4s and look very similar to the secondaries. They have a shower an (appalling) bunk and a kitchenette. TTBOMK, they barely turn a wheel.

Was about to make a post asking for this so thank god I checked, this would certainly be useful as the Scottish Ambulance Service now has electric Peugeot support vehicles being rolled out to stations, which while aren't really welfare it's the closest thing, and I'd much rather it require HART training than an entire HART base in the middle of Tomintoul for it lol
