I just wish London wasn't changing the Battenburg markings on the new appliances.

@FirefighterDetroit I guess it removes some of the variety in the UK Fire Service livery, but may at least make life easier in terms of standardisation both in the real world and in graphics - doesn't mean to say you have to change your graphics from the current to new Battenburg livery though!

I'm not from England but I heard that they did it because the pattern on things like ladders was not working properly and was making the units harder to recognise

Not all brigades are changing to batternburg, Norfolk still just have a single yellow strip on there vehicles, even there newest 2013 appliances don't have batternburg
