I have noticed this on 2 missions: Hayshed fire, where it requires: 8 Fire Engines or Ladder Platform Trucks, then has a requirement of 1 LP in the next line down; and Goods Train Fire, where it requires: 4 Fire Engines, Rescue Units or Ladder Platform Trucks. This should be fixed, because you cannot use LPs or MRVs for direct firefighting (LPs have inputs for water and pipes up the ladder, but the water must be supplied and pressurised by an external truck) , as they don't carry water or pumps. Devs, don't try and allow people to substitute in vehicles that perform completely different roles IRL. Especially if the vehicle is already needed in the mission.
Vehicle requirements not making sense

Mozza unfortunately this is a port from another server however I agree with the comment on Ladder Platform so will request the Devs adjust the requirements for 8 Fire Engines or Ladder Platforms to 8 Fire Engines.

I believe the OR ladder Or Rescue is more meant for rescue type of missions as in the states most ladders carry some form of rescue equipment

Not really in Australia.

As curiosity stated, LPs don't carry rescue equipment in Australia, and neither of these missions are a rescue type mission anyway. Goods Train Fire, I can understand needing a MRV to help gain access potentially, as well as a LP being needed to put water in the top of a car or something, but they should be a separate requirement, not lumped in with normal fire trucks

I think the calls in au where you need 3 LP's is unrealistic as in the US every department has a ladder but here my state only has 3

They definitely aren't unrealistic, however there does need to be less missions that require a LP, since they're mainly used for fires in tall buildings. CAPAs/APs are used a fair bit more in SA, such as for a house fire

Every Department in the US does not have an aerial ladder.

Yeah I know that but as Smurf66 rightly stated it was copy and pasted form MCUS, which is why i stated in the states ladders often have rescue equipment aswell. Which is why the “Engine or Rescue Or Ladder” exists

in the us it seems a ladder goes to almost every call

It’s only happened recently, as the hay shed fire I copied off the uk game and made sure it was written right. I think the devs have tweaked something and that’s why it’s coming up now
