I personally think that it would make the game to easy. And i think the moderator and sebastian would agree. Maybe If it had a bigger personnel requirement like 12 firefighters.

Where do you get 12 firefighters from a US rig can only hold 6 in a cab

To answer this question I will make a question too - Where do you see a vehicle like that fitting into this game? - answer: You don't!
-
PortuguesDC i never said it had to be a us rig and even then i was only answering a question saying that having hazmat and swift water rescue training in one vehicle would be too easy. I know that the sebastian strives for realism but not everything in the game has to be super realistic. Like it's possible to have a 12 crew vehicle

There wouldn't be a point for this from a gameplay point let alone a realism one, If you have 12 people on any piece of fire apparatus then there'd be very little space for any equipment rendering the whole thing a bit useless, unless used alongside other specialist vehicles.

Whilst I appreciate the way some departments run their vehicles you have to understand that this is a game and it can’t be made too easy. As I have said in the past a real life department will try to make their lives as easy as possible but unfortunately that doesn’t work for a game, that is the reason there is the hesitation with combo vehicles.
We also have to remember that vehicles need to have their own individual benefits. Take the utility for example, players were complaining that it served no purpose and that you might as well buy the heavy rescue. It was given a purpose and now players want Rescues, Chiefs, Engines etc to be able to tow boats and again it would then render the utility without a special purpose.
As for the 12 personnel in a vehicle that is unrealistic and is unlikely to be added to the game.

so you want a people carrier is what your saying?
-
No I am just saying that's it's not too unrealistic to have 10 or 12 people to 1 vehicle and still have enough room for storage

In the US it's a paramedic unit. In other countries it is a doctors vehicle.
So if the fly car is useless then I suppose the newly added Police Motorcycle is useless too? They are basically the same thing but in different professions.

I feel like the only reason they were put in the game is because they needed something to put in the game,

http://www.bmefire.com/apparatus/wildland/crew-carriers/It appears my comment wasn't read as it was meant to be read. I do not like this from a game play perspective, I do not have an issue on the realism front.

Guys can we be peaceful please? Not acting as a mod just trying to help keep the peace.
Stomblack.. I use flycars as Paramedic Units and may use Police Motorcycles. I personally see no issue with them. Some players like to be realistic as I do.
We all have our opinions here. Let's just respect everyone's and in return respect theirs. DON'T MAKE ME START SINGING ARETHA FRANKLIN NOW!!! R E S P E C T

Even tho the suggested idea is a opinion based suggestion, This thread has taken a little off-topic compared to the suggestion.
My views are:
Having a vehicle that does (theoretically speaking) 3 to 4 things at once, will literally make the game too easy, MC is about challenge tbh. As much as different dept have different uses for vehicles, You have to spread the effectiveness across all player bases. Me personally I’m against the squad idea as suggested in this thread.
Fly cars...... Flycars do actually serve a very good purpose if used correctly, Yes ok there is a few aspects to them that make them useless but if used correctly can be great, My example is, I currently have limited ambulances within my setup in South West UK, As a result sometimes ambulances can take up to 20 minutes to get to a job, Flycars (or RRV’s in the UK) may be able to get on scene within 5-10 minutes, And start treating. I once had a ambulance delay of 25 minutes on my setup and I used flycars and it made it more controllable cuz the ambo would get on scene and pretty much transport only. Which meant that I could send my flycars from medical jobs to medical job, which a ambo would be ages away. My point is, they are NOT! Useless if used correctly.

http://www.bmefire.com/apparatus/wildland/crew-carriers/These buses have a specific use in the US. They carry wildland fire Hand Crews. They do not carry any equipment other than hand tools and medical/first aid gear. They are strictly transports to take a crew to a wildland/vegetation fire, where the hand crew then starts cutting line and surrounding the fire. Unless they somehow figure a way to use hand crews and bulldozers on wildland fires in this game, I don't see a use for this unit in-game.
