Need Locations For Helicopter Stations, Coastguard Response Stations & Operation Centres.
I already have a sheet from previously working with the RNLI however I dont Have Addresses for all of the Coastguard Response Stations. If someone has a link or everything for the response stations with addresses would be amazing.

While I don't have every station on this, here's a map of all RNLI stations and Bristow helicopter bases nationwide plus Coastguard rescue stations on the south and south east coast - and a few private lifeboat charities. I am based in the south east and central areas so I have only done the coastguard rescue stations that are relevant to me at this time but I will likely expand the map in the distant future. I do not have information for what's based at each of these to hand, though there are resources online such as FOIs or the RNLI website which you can use to make informed decisions about what units to position at what station. -
I have just used this for the Scottish stations.
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/bases_and_fleet
It has all UK stations on it (or at least it should) for the standard Coastguard Stations
For coastguard Heli stations these are on Wikipedia

These are the sources I've used so far

I recommend not using the above fleetlists but to instead opt for this one
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com…an%2023%20FINAL.xlsx.html
it's 100% up to date, includes ATV locations, trailer locations (Flood Rescue, Mud Rescue) and tells you what's an OSV and what is not! -
Also got these bits of info if you are interested, not necessarily to do CRT locations specifically, but good for quick reference/realistic setup

Coastguard aircraft:
This is inaccurate now. Some registrations have an extra G at the end for some unknown reason (all should be G-ABCD etc.) but all helicopters move around bases from time to time - I say it's good enough though rather than changing them every single time one moves which just isn't practical. And Doncaster has now closed so all of the resources operated by 2Excel have now gone to Humberside. In a couple of years, under the new CG contract for Bristow, there will be summer seasonal helicopter bases at Fort William and Carlisle but this may be in 2 or 3 years.
I've made a list below of bases and their respective callsign and helicopter type. Note all ones starting with a 9 have an S92 and all starting with 1 have an AW189.
Caernarfon CG936 S92 Humberside CG912 S92 Inverness CG151 AW189 Lee CG175 AW189 Lydd CG163 AW189 Newquay CG924 S92 Prestwick CG198 AW189 St. Athan CG187 AW189 Stornoway CG948 S92 Sumburgh CG900 S92 -
I dont want to open a new one for a single question, so i join into here
If you -try- to play as realistic as possible, how would you solve this problem?
Absolutely no HMCG heli based even near to my setup...
/NUmberland, Cumbria, T&W/
thx

Realistically speaking, you've got Humberside, Caernarfon and Prestwick as your three closest bases (in no particular order). HMCG have also realised that there's a very busy bit in the middle of all of that without ideal cover, hence they're launching a base at Carlisle airport and in Fort William. These will be operational for 12 hours a day from April to September, though it's not clear when the bases will actually become operational. In the meantime, you could put the base in at Carlisle if you want to fill the hole - it's not a bad idea and isn't unrealistic necessarily due to the expansion plans in the future.
TL;DR - Carlisle airport
Edit: The new contract goes live on 30th September 2024 so I would assume we can see the two new bases in Spring 2025. -

And whats with the old RAF and Navy SAR bases? I mean from the Sea King era

Thanks

All the Military SAR helicopters are now gone. I’m not entirely sure if Coastguard took over flying from those bases but I know a lot of them didn’t. Wattisham for example closed and east replaced leaving a massive hole in coverage along the east coast of the UK.
Bases such as St Athan may have had military replaced by CG but I’m not entirely sure

technically the P-8's aided in SAR with HMCG here

CG SAR does fly out of St Athan

Indeed. I meant using them as some kind of semi-real setup.
At least retro. Like RAF Boulmer.

If we are going down that route so do the A400M’s
CG SAR does fly out of St Athan
Correct, I just meant I’m not sure if it’s from the same facility on base sorry.

I personally don’t, but that would be up to the individual player

The P8 doesn't offer any real SAR value just now. Yes it can search but that's it. Don't think it has and deployable assets like the Nimrod's had.

Was just a joke haha, not expecting any Russian Submarine Spotted (Major) missions anytime soon

Just completed testing of the system, same as what the US ones have and same as what’s dispersed out the back of the A400M. https://www.raf.mod.uk/news/ar…-and-rescue-capabilities/
