Loving the update so far, but thinking that 2x ILB for investigate flare is maybe too much, or maybe allow other lifeboat units to respond like Heli or ALBs might help too, struggling with the number of ILBs for a semi-realistic set up and may need to add second ILBs to stations that actually only have 1.
It would be great if for some missions like investigating flares, ALBs could count as ILBs?

Never was one the game requires rope trained staff prior to the mission spawning hence why it wasnt needed,
I did not include rope rescue as a building expansion.
The only Coastguard station expansions submitted were Mud and Flood.
I have checked the SAR release order for what has been submitted and can confirm Rope expansion was not on there meaning it wasn't added by anyone.
This may be an error on the DEVs part however I have highlighted it to be looked into.
I checked on all (three) of my Coastguard buildings it isnt there. Not there on lifeguard one too so not sure what happened, maybe danny read it wrong?

I dont believe I ever saw rope rescue as an extension? I wrote everything up into a doc on the night of release to better understand the update, and didn't include it there so I'm 99% sure there was never a rope extension.

So for this are we going to be looking at things like RSUs with boats a large enough number of RSUs do carry boats or at least some advanced form of water rescue gear?

Ive already asked but never saw a response, but would it be possible for the home response locations to be listed in the lifeboat college so the units can get the required training?

It would make sense for all ALBs to act as ILBs, as they all have small inflatables on, such as a Y boat, which are all technically ILBs.
Anyone else having issues where its coming up that a patient needs to be transported, but its an ALB/ILB and the mission is still waiting for a coastguard heli to arrive.
For fire, you can send the 4x4 on its own with both displaying as separate units, but upon sending the trailer it automatically sends the 4x4 with it, I've not found any issues with it - cancel the trailer and it cancels the 4x4 and vice versa. I assume this is how it works with CG and such

The Mud/Rope rescue vehicles are also CRVs and can replace these for all missions.
You will need the Mud unit (relevant training & expansion) and the Rope unit (relevant training) to unlock the Mud/Rope missions

We still have non-specialised CRV here, seems to be most rope rescue CG bases (in my region at least) will have one general and one rope rescue vehicle
