Response area and call types

  • The way I'm proposing it, it is just a specialisation. And yes, it is mainly based on city setups, however, a lot of Australia is not city, and they opened up that can of worms when they introduced Bushfire missions and vehicles.

  • I'm just suggesting that they reclassify everything. Rural only is standard bushfires, plus reclassify scrub and grass fire, field fires, tractor fires. Rural and Urban is things like Vehicle accidents, burning grass, burning leaves, house fire related things, burning vehicles, small supermarket fires, light aircraft crash in bushland, etc. Urban only is things like Skyscraper fires, things that require multiple ladders, major Urban incidents. And ladders should be gotten off of a lot of missions, since they are nowhere near as prevalent in Australia as they are in America

Fully agree in tassie we have THREE ladders across the state in the us every town has one.. Lets get this to the devs

  • An option is to build a Fire station, give it Rural extension, transfer/delete the starting truck, and then fill the station with Rural trucks. Set the station to specialisation Forestry and wamo, Rural calls from this station.

  • Fenrir.

No need to be rude to everyone. You are very stand offish on both the game and forums. You have been playing this game for two seconds. Just take a chill pill and listen to the member that have even playing for a long time.

All of us have barked up the same tree. The AUS support team have moved boulders to get some of the things we have now. It used to be a carbon copy of US version. You also have to remember that the Devs are the devs of all 20 versions of the game. They don’t have time to adjust every time request we all have.

Just take it as it comes and play the game! Getting lippy at everyone won’t get you any where

  • I would like people to respect one another when posting in these forums and I would like to remind everybody that this section of the forums is for the AU version of Mission Chief. Comments like build a "Forestry Extension and hey presto you have a Rural Station" is purely in the US version content and should be left out of this conversation.

While it is wonderful to ask for the "Game" to mimic real life like urban vs rural i wonder if you are really going to operate your Rural Stations that way? As an example there is a CFA station in Victoria not all that far from me that has 2 vehicles a Pumper Tanker and a Support vehicle. how would they handle your Rural Bushfires in that area? don't tell me because being part of Emergency Services I know exactly how. My point is this a game that a software company owns and while free to play they do look for ideas to make money.

The AU Content Advisor team has worked very hard over the last 12 months to get more Australian style content into the game and fought many battles to get bugs and problems straightened out for members. We have had a number of wins but have also lost the discussion points in some cases as well. At the end of the day the Software Company and the Developers have the final say on what happens.

  • Mate Your being rude and Ive been playing for 1 year Its called ideas...
That the devs could possibly look at and implement In 5 years... Its just an idea

  • The game is designed to be a simulator not a 100% realistic game. If we were to take the Urban and Rural extension to the devs and it were to pass but I am 99.9% sure it won't. We would need to go through every mission there is and make them again for rural and urban extensions. This is not practical and only makes the game close to 100% a handful of people such as yourselves.
